  • just untick the lot you dont need everything starting up all the time when your pc does, then re-start a box will appear on startup tick the little tiny box then ok and see if this sorts it out, then try re-stalling it

you could try a system restore, to put the system back to the way it was at the beginning of the week,

So, did you buy this from the web, you don't have a CD?

Oh, sorry, just reread your post, you've tried that..
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?
  • think of it like a car you have to turn it off before you can re start it right are you getting this, you have to turn off the program before you can un-unstall it then when this is done re-install it, it may ask you if you want to repair the program I would try this option first if that doesnt work right click on the icon for the program and click quit or exit to turn it off again then go to add and remove and remove it then re-install it.

  • Ok i did what you said and restarted it. Now do you think I should try to reinstall the software again. The Windows Installer message was there at start up but it only came up once.

I tried a system restore earlier but it didn't solve the problem - I put it back a week earlier and the windows installer messages were still coming up.
  • try re-installing the program to see what happens you may be able to repair the program if it gives you this option,
