In that case I'll leave you to figure it out on your own and wont try and help by commenting on your legal rights.
You quoted part of the Sale of Goods Act in order to back up your own viewpoint that the manufacturer should replace with new. Even after being told that your contract is with the retailer and that it is a like-for-like basis (which a refurb is).
What you want is largely irrelevant to the advice we give. This board is about consumer rights and not consumer wants.
Advising what your rights are and trying to stress that what your understanding of a word/phrase/whatever may not be the legal understanding of it along with saying good idea on taking the pics isnt constructive?
Or does it just fall in line with my signature? That we're only allowed to comment on threads providing we're going to tell the OP exactly what they want to hear whether its right or wrong? You keep using that word. I didn't quote the sale of goods act only the "which" website, I can be pedantic too! Or shall I just role my eyes in disbelief?
I'm not going to keep repeating myself, having already spoken to the helpline I know what my rights are.
Funny how you state you'll leave me to figure it out, but still feel the need to comment further.
If I need legal advice, I'll now use one of the free options or a solicitor. Not a forum based on peoples interpretations.
