What a day... Finally sitting down
Started baking cupcakes at 6 this morning, then kids to school/nursery, got ready to go to meeting, drove to Oxford, meeting, lunch, drove home, stopped at post office on the way, quickly responded some emails, kids ready to go to the farm thing, did the farm thing for a few hours, home, iced and decorated cupcakes, dishwasher, kitchen tidy, finally a moment to myself.
Sometimes I feel totally unappreciated at home, must be having one of those "meh" days.
Working from home tomorrow and if I feel as dead on my feet tomorrow as I do right now, I will be treating myself to a lunch time nap - in bed, curtains closed, proper snooze......0 -
Goodness that sounds like a day and a half Lulabelle!
Enjoy your well deserved nap tomorrowMortgage 14/12/2012 - £309865

Sorry... I'll go and stand in corner.
Me neither, I've only just decided that I quite like a bit of nail varnish, I'm not really a very girly girl.....0 -

Thanks polka dot, I will indeed..... There's something quite special about a sneaky lunch time sleep! Best intentions, but it will most likely end up being another manic day tbh. Oh we'll, it's a nice idea.0 -

Thanks hun, will do - I'm expecting a few deliveries today, I hope they arrive soon so that I can sneak off for my nap later......0 -
DH paid a few days early.... £15.05 left in the bills account, so I've OP'd the M with it.
Total MOP's for Dec don't really add up to much, but I'd figured it would be that way when I committed to getting the new carpets and decorating done - can't have it all ways. Plus we've saved a little bit too.
Hopefully we can start again with the MOP's in January.... although we do still need to decide what we are going to do about holidays this year... We'll need to have a family chat around the kitchen table to discuss the options along with the pros and cons etc.
Portion of chilli is out of the freezer for dinner and the boys can have some fishfingers and beans. Easy as peas!0 -
Well, the deliveries were later than expected yesterday, so no nap. However, very happy that all deliveries are now here, nothing more to wait for.
Work is now very quiet and will hopefully stay like this until the new year.
Home with ds1 today..... A little bit of work and then debating going to see nativity 2 at the cinema. Thing is, I don't think he's fussed about it today and seems happy to mooch, so will see how it goes. Might do it as a New Years treat before he goes back to school in jan instead.
Pouring down with rain here, very dark outside....... Definitively a lazy mooching day.
I've just caught up on diaries and I want to make a point of saying how much I enjoy reading everyone's diaries. Being a part of this forum over the last12 months has really helped to keep me on track and focused on being sensible - well for the most part.
Money saving ways are firmly implanted!
On top of that, I feel like I've "met" some lovely people on here and many of you actually feel like friends with is lovely.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a very happy money saving/MOP'ing New Year!!
