Oh come on Natty - don't forget about the fake pimms. Might buy some myself once payday arrives (scoots off to add it to the shopping list).

    Beautiful morning again.....

Walked up the road with DS1 - he rode his scooter, said goodbye at the top of the road and let him go the rest of the way himself. He had to wait at the school gate so that DH could do a drive by on the way to work to check he's got there OK. I still feel the need the check points at the moment but am happy to encourage some independence as I think we're all too keen to be a overbearing nowadays and we never set them free to do little things like this, then they'll never be prepared to manage the big wide world.

In money news - checked the accounts, 17p moved to MOP pot. Switched £10 from bills to spends to cover the loo tools, coffee etc that was bought yesterday. Both of the flex accounts are totally empty and really neediny pay day to arrive so that they can be replenished.

My BFF wanted to go out for a Thai (meal not man) on Tuesday, but I've declined and said to wait until next week as skint. Recently, I would have just gone and switched some money in from an account to cover it.

Another friend wants to go to lunch tomorrow. But, I think I'm going to cancel that too otherwise I need to pay on CC or switch money from another account and since I'm trying to be good, I think it's best to maybe cancel, although I haven't seen her since October, so perhaps i should make an exception for this one?!

Well, that was another steaming hot day (yes, I mean temperature wise)....

Worked til around 1245 and then went and picked up ds2 from nursery. He wants to go strawberry picking. So, off we went. Just a smallish punnet, £2.50 spent. I was tempted to have a prawn sandwich while I was there from the tearoom but I was saved as they had run out of prawns. So I decided against ordering an alternative and did without. Saved £6.75 on the sandwich. Plus I would have got a coke, so another £2 ish saved. We made a milkshake using some of the strawbs when we got home.

Dinner was a bbq'd pork steak and a tomatoe, mozzarella and olive salad. All leftovers from BBQ stuff we bought for the weekend.

Did some more work once DH was back from work and had an order from a new client finally come through so got all busy and excited which is great.

Naughty earlier..... I was looking at the mail online app and saw Kim sears wearing a lovely beach dress from ted baker.... So, off I went to the ted baker site, found said dress and added it to basket (£49 in the sale), along with some lovely flip flops (£25 in sale) and a stunning black work dress (£80 in sale)...... Then remembered myself and closed the browser down. I can't let myself fall off the MS (s = saving and not spending) wagon after just a few days. Ho hum.

So, I've come on here for diary catch up to focus the mind, but only one of my subscribed threads has updated since this morning (thank you squirrel).... Come on peeps, get posting, I need something to distract and focus my mind!

Reminder to self - stop looking at the show business news on the mail online app. If problem persists, delete app promptly.

Well done you. I was tempted to purchase some candles and makeup on QVC last night but resisted at the last minute. Hope your enjoying the strawbs.
