Its so hard. We had a few doubts too but also desperately wanted a project, although working till stupid o clock every night after work for such a long period of time was slightly wearing! At least cos we bought a wreck, the only way for us was up.

I guess it makes sense to buy a bit of a wreck - once you've invested your love, effort and £'s it would be worth a lot more than a ready made version......
We've seen a property that we could do this with but we're a bit scared of taking on a project... although, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense.....
Hmmm, I need to have a good think0 -
A staggering total of 7p worth of TT's this morning......
Pay Day today, however, it doesn't "arrive" until this afternoon, so I shall have to bide my time by working until I'm able to some money shuffling.
Sadly, much of this months money is already accounted for, so there will be no big MOP this month..... however, I've been selling my wares throughout the month, so thankfully I've managed to pay some off as the month has gone along, so it's not a total disaster......
So, working from home today. Need to do a little bit of housework in my "break" times as it's looking a bit minging.
I shall also be doing my neighbourhood watch role from my office window and spying on the new neighbours to see if I can suss them out any more than I have already. I'm sure they are very nice and probably already regretting moving here if they have spotted me spying on them.
Easy dinner tonight - Veggie curry (from the freezer, cooked a month or so ago, portioned and frozen) - so t's currently defrosting... will serve with some Naan bread and bhaji's (picked up from Mr S yesterday).
Holiday countdown has officially started..... 9 weeks and 5 days to go.0 -
Yay - payday arrived, money shuffle completed.....
Current account looks super for approx 5 minutes and now it looks rubbish again.......
OP's updated in signature, however balance wont be updated until my mortgage payment hits on the 1st of April.0 -
Well, it's grey and wet here and just 10 minutes ago there was heavy snow. Crazy weather.
This time last year I went to a sales meeting in Austria and the weather was unexpectedly warm.. I had wrapped up warm and then ended up having to buy some new bits (such a shame) when I got there as it was 20+ degrees. This year, I'm not going to the sales meeting but my business partner is and apparently its around 2 degrees and snowing. What a contrast to last year.
*TT's - 46 pence
*Moved £4 from birthdays to cover cost of sweets and birthday cards to go with a couple of kiddy birthdays in our street
*Moved £8 from DH's personal spends to pay for the extra weights he bought from Mr T the other night - he's got a thing about having super big arms at the moment. I must admit though, he's actually looking quite hot. Hopefully it's for me and he's not approaching mid life crisis.
*Sausage casserole removed from freezer - however, there was only 2 sausages left in it (!), I've taken out some chicken too - will cook some to go in the casserole and then use the rest to make the boys some sort of chicken/pepper BBQ thing....
* Working from home AGAIN today and will be for the rest of the week. Will not be escaping my office at home until next Tuesday when I go to Manchester for the night for a dinner meeting.
*I've done the meal plan for the next week and we'll need to go food shopping tonight or tomorrow - I might do it tomorrow actually rather than letting DH go tonight and that way I can control the cost a little bit more......0 -

Hehe - the beauty of spreadsheets....
Although TBH - I give the impression of being organised, but with many things I'm not organised at all. I had to spend 2 hours tidying my files on my Mac yesterday as it was such a mess.
I ought to sort out my emails too - I have 2 accounts, in one of them, nothing has been deleted since May 2010 and the other one is Nov 2011.0 -
I might have had an unexpected lunch out with a friend today.....
Dinner out on Thursday and another dinner out with a friend planned for next Thursday.... I've never been so sociable!!
Edit - dinner with the neighbours and children on Saturday night - not sure how my eating out budget will cope with all of this social activity0 -
