Good plan inigma, I'm a sales person by trade but I don't even think that I could convince DH that "said" handbag is for him and that perhaps I can just borrow it... lol !

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Just for you Tilly - no handbag purchases have been made! Not only that, but I have removed the various apps from my iDevices again that provide me with the temptation!

My little Mulberry item sold on fleabay last night, so I've lovingly packaged it up and will pop to the post office later today to get it sent off. I will move the money from paypal and pay it straight in to the mortgage. It actually hurts a little to write those words!

Working from home all week this week with perhaps a quick trip out on Wednesday, so shall make sure that I stay off the internet and perhaps just visit this site rather than any sites that are going to tempt me.

Christmas shopping is pretty much finished and mostly wrapped, just a few bits and pieces to get now, but they won't cost very much.

I need to start thinking about the Christmas food now. Since DH does the food shop, I'm not feeling very organised as I would have usually picked up bits and pieces for the last few months, but alas I have nothing in the cupboards other than the food that we will eat over the forthcoming week.

Taking a trip to see my sister this weekend which we're all really looking forward to. We will do something nice with the kids and then go to the christmas market and enjoy some yummy things together.

The sun seems to be peeping out now, it looks lovely from my office window....

    Have a great day everyone, L x
  • Hi LB, just checking in and well done on the handbag but I can truly understand the pang of loss. However, another OP will be we wending its way soon, no doubt.

I laughed at your Xmas food comment. This is a part of Xmas I love, all my Xmas books come out, and yes that's probably another weakness I have:rotfl: I open up my lovely excel and plan the menus down to which dishes I need to use to serve, yes I know I am portray this very sad woman. However as we used to have around 12 for lunch I needed t be organised. Cooking is a shared passion between me and DH so if you want any menu tips etc just PM me. Fab

Right, enjoy the sun from your office. Tilly
