    Hi Lulabelle

Not sure how iphones sell on ebay but would suggest selling to a specialist mobile phone purchaser. My hubby did and made £180 on an old I phone which more than covered the cost of the new one. Think it was mazuma... it was very good service, they sent an envelope pre-paid and money was in the bank account a week later.

Hi, just popping in to say if you are going to sell to a phone site then you can also go through topcashback first for a few extra pounds.

    Morning L,

Hope to see the signature updated at under £130k soon! It's brilliant hitting those £10k milestones.

    Cheers,

Grrr, my overpayments are still not showing. Never eagerly awaited the new monthly balance before...... Maybe they will show on Monday.

I have a longing for an eggnog latte from Starbucks, sadly the nearest one is at least 20 miles away. Never got one at LGW this week so I'm long overdue.

Read the news stories on the daily mail app earlier, is it just me or are all of these doom and gloom stories about the economy starting to make you feel a but nervous about your finances......

On the bright side, reading these stories reinstalls the fact that I really want to be MF. Trouble is, if everything thinks in the same way, I guess the situation will just get worse.... I will leave it to my non saving/sensible friends to keep the economy going though and I will continue to OP!!!!

My DH is growing weary of my MSE ways I'm sensing.... The rolling of the eyes each time I get on my soapbox gives it a way a little. Trouble is I'm a bit of an obsessive person, so once I have something in my mind, I tend to focus on it a little bit too much. Need to make sure I'm getting a happy balance.....

Morning LB, no idea why I am awake so early, however.......

What abut remindIng DH about the sort of life he would have after MF status is achieved? What would he really like to do, or which car does he truly want? I did say want, not need, as you can have a moment of gay abandon, although I am not sure if, after years of MS caution, any of us will go back to old ways, as this is really about making our money work for us and being more financially savvy.

You could open a pot, and save a nominal amount per month as the Dream pot. He will see that slowly growing, but more importantly he will know it stands for his post MF dream. No idea whether this would work but it may be worth a try?

    Best wishes Tilly :money:

Thanks Tilly, great suggestions as always. For the short term I will just ignore his eye rolling and resort to bribery as and when I get more desperate! I like the idea of keeping a few things up my sleeve.

TBH, I'm the nightmare one when it comes to the spending. I very nearly just got carried away and bought a silly/expensive handbag as a Christmas present for myself from DH. Thankfully, I think I have come to my senses!
