Advice on best ISP for unbundeled exchange

hi
Sorry if this has been asked b4 but deals change all the time
so asking fresh.
I'm changing my isp from adsl24/7 who have a 30gb limit on £19 ish
deal which i tend to go over, I'm out in the sticks where BT forgets
about in its race to get fiber to the masses in the town so my exchange is unbundeled and i get 1mb speed.
My question is whats my best bet for a isp? I'd like someone with good speeds (i should get 2mb odd but dont) and a good dl limit (at least 100gb) and cheap as possible, asking a lot but hey guy can ask.
Was thinking about o2 as speeds crap with me anyway or tesco 100gb deal they had on.
Anyway any advice welcome thanks
bye

I think you have your terms wrong. Unbundled means there are LLU operators in which case the best are Sky or Be/O2 but it sounds from the rest of your post it is BT IPstream only.
Your speed is dictated by your line which won't change whichever ISP you choose. ADSL24 are OK sfaik and must offer higher download products. Typically it's the big names who should be avoided - if you've seen their advertising on TV or the national press they are suspect (apart from Sky and Be/O2).0 -
Do an exchange search on www.samknows.com and post your results. What we are interested in is the list of LLU suppliers, if any.
It's not BT's job to unbundle your exchange, it's the other ISP's who have that option if they think that that can attract sufficient customers to make it pay.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

So your options are among the many resellers of BT's wholesale service. Unfortunately this does limit your 'unlimited' options severely-and it will be expensive.
Plusnet Extra gives you 60GB-(too little?) much the cheapest. Zen Pro gives you 100GB (but very expensive at £35/74) IDNet Home Plus gives you 80GB at £18.37 (but the allowance is linked to off peak periods). I'd have a lok at those for starters.
If you can often manage with 30GB, do you really need 100GB? There's a big difference. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
i cna manage but its with me downloading at nite all the time (off peak) so in relality use more
orange say they are unlimited to me at £32 for unlimited calls and BB and £50 sainsburys vouchers are they as good
as it gets for my bundeled exchange and what are orange like?
thanks again for help all0 -
Orange are known anecdotally as Horange. Make of that what you will.0

bt have offered me unlimited plan (op 3) for £13 for 12 months is it my best option?0
-
Neither BT nor Orange are well regarded. Call ADSL24 and ask what they can do for you before moving on. If they don't come up with anything you like the sound of ask for a MAC instead. Lots of ISPs offer unmetered overnight - I think Plusnet do for one but you'd need to check.0

From PN:
Overnight usage (between Midnight and 8am) does not count towards your monthly usage allowance.
Any unused allowance isn't carried over to the next month. On each billing date your allowance will reset to the level shown above.

Actually I had a look at ADSL24 and their overnight is unmetered. Re-reading the post concerned I see that the OP doesn't like downloading overnight. Unfortunately unlimited at peak times will either mean abysmal performance (because everybody will be hammering the torrents etc. without any restraint) or a rather large monthly charge.0
