I do believe being tight under the arms is a design flaw, and therefore not fit for purpose.
Not having a receipt is not helpfull.
If somebody called me a thief I know what I would do.
I would stand and tell them to call the Police and when they turn up explain the story, get a log number, and then sue for something.
Its a big thing to call someone a thief with no evidence.0 -

Not necessarily. Many types of clothing has different styles of fits, Jeans for example boot cut, flare, standard. The boot cut for example are tighter towards the lower end of the garment.
That and the fact when purchasing instore you have the opportunity to inspect the garent (and therefore it's design) before making the decision to purchase the goods.0 -
Quick update - received an email from Sports Direct saying there will be a full investigation into the matter and the person responsible will be disciplined. The auditors will also investigate the lack of sales on that day. I have to write back with the jackets barcode and hopefully will be able to exchange it.0

Very interesting :cool:0 -
I suppose Fat Mike is getting enough negative publicity at the moment (Sports Direct Arena - as if!) so they may be being more customer-friendly.

my sister's work colleague asked her to take some shoes back to NEXT on her lunch hour. she said she didnt have the receipt and just to swap them for a baby outfit (gave the age and description).
sis thought absolutely nothing of it and as she shops in next regularly she has a rapport with the staff and they did not question the lack of receipt at all.
imagine my sister's horror to get back to work, hand over the item from the "colleague" to be told the shoes were purchased from shoplifters
she had therefore got her baby a nice outfit at a reduced price and she thought this was fantastic!!
apparently she does this all the time and the next staff are now questioning her constant lack of receipts - so she sends other people.
my sis was horrified and would never have exchanged them if she knew beforehand they were stolen goods!!! the woman just thought it was funny!!!
i can understand sports direct questioning the lack of receipt - but think its awful to make u feel like a thief.
am surprised the manager failed to question his system with 3 sales in a whole day!!!0
