What makes you any different to a thief? The person in the shop is a stranger to you just like they are to all the shop lifters who go in there.
Should they treat you differently because you're you or do they swap everything out that shop lifters have stolen just in case one isn't a shoplifter but lost their receipt.0 -

Needless to say I will not be shopping there again.
I bet you do if only because its the cheapest on the high street. I remember loads of toon fans saying they would never shop there again but week after week the stores are full :rotfl:"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
The last time I went in Sports Direct somebody had stolen one of their walkie talkie jobbies and was just tormenting all the staff over them.0

You bought someone a present and you did not know their size and you did not bother to keep the receipt? I think you should put this one down as a lesson learned especially in the run up to Christmas when you may be buying more presents for people.0

Had a similar experince with SD, purchased a pair of football boots for my son last July, in the September they started to split. Went back to SD without the receipt explained problem and gave them the date i purchased the boots, as the date tallied they gave me a credit note for the full value of the boots:j0

Of course I knew her size, I'm not that stupid!
the problem was with the jacket i.e. under the arm pit was too tight! the assistant said a lot of people were complaining of the same thing! I was not given a receipt and believed the assistant had put it in the bag but when I asked my friend about it she said there was no receipt in the bag!
I have not written to the company asking for an explanation and apology.0 -
the difference being that I am not a thief!scheming_gypsy wrote: »What makes you any different to a thief?0 -
