Giffgaff having site problems again.Looks like i will be taking my December payback & running to a more professional network.0

Seems to be happening a lot lately. The idea is good but dont think systems or amount of staff can cope with the demand at the moment.0

Was down for 2-3 hours, can get in OK now. I only need to get in once a month for a couple of minutes to renew my goodybag so I guess I don't see much problem. I work for a very large company that turns over 10's of $billions a year and I can't even log into work surprisingly often!
But yes it should be better. I am certainly no apologist for them and will be off like a shot if they pee me off but I can honestly say its been a great experience so far.0 -
how much time does it take for a new sim to get activated ?0

I've had GG for about 4 months and I can't be happier. Both the activation and portability of my Vodafone number went smoothless (activation was instant, moving my number took about 1 hour), the coverage is much better than VF and Internet works perfectly, it only stopped working last week but I just had to turn off and on the phone and it was back, and they warned me the day before this would happen.0

I had giffgaff for a while but there were problems with sms not being sent. Though they did fix it. Then problems with data, which was 02s fault. In the end i opted for a network not based on 02 - I would go back though0

My wife and I are both on Giff Gaff. Our SIMs arrived within a couple of days of ordering them (via a friend so we got the extra credit) and porting our numbers was painless too. Coverage where we live is much better than Vodafone.

Hmmm, now feel much more reassured, thanks everyone for posting, have to say though, the best reassurance was that the OP didn't bother to return or reply to any of the posts! Surely if it was that much of an issue or that important they'd be watching and at least asking for help not just complaining and making a thread for nothing.0
