Off to the library now, finally! I think I might change my topic again... hmm. But I'm going to be there for at least four hours so I'll have time to think!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0

Got just over 900 words and I'm on a roll
I know exactly where I'm going and how to get there, so I'm going to try and get 1500 words done before I leave the library later - then I can add the other 500 words tomorrow and do some editing.
Put a new post up on my blog and discovered that I've earnt 38p off of it, haha, not exactly a break the bank figure but it's a start and it should hopefully go up and up as I start to publish more on it, I'm a bit of a slack blogger sometimes...
Might go to Morrisons later as I'm running low on water and I could use some squash as well. Might leave it for tomorrow and have today as another NSD though!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
Managed 1450 words yesterday
Going to go to Morrisons this morning then back to the library for a few hours, before hopefully going to the gym if I have time! Really want to finish this essay today.
NSD yesterday, won't be today lol. Don't need a massive amount (got a few meals in the freezer) - just need to top up my fruit and veg and get some sandwich stuff in.
Also finally sent an email to Slice the Pie as my account was blocked for not using the right password three times in a row, this was blocked months ago and I presumed it would be unblocked by itself so I didn't bother doing anything about it! Hopefully now I can get back on and start earning myself some pennies. Need to get back into Clickworker, DooYoo and Textbroker too, it's just hard with no time! I think I have enough SB for another £5 Amazon gift card on Swagbucks, so I may cash that in and use the £25 I have on there for a birthday/christmas present or two. I have a tendency to hold onto gift cards like that 'for something special' but then they never get spent!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
Shopping wasn't massively successful, I got £20 out of the cash machine before I went in hoping to get a fair bit of change out of it and I came out with it still in tact... cos I had to pay on card
£23.40!
However in that I got some things I wouldn't normally buy and won't need to buy again; I bought some loo roll for the house (£4, last time I do because I seem to be the only !!!!!! that does), a bottle of Ribena (£2) as it was on offer and a pack of frozen chicken breasts (£4) which will last me a long long time as I don't eat them often but I like to have them in. For dinner tonight I got myself a skate wing
Not too cheap at £2.03 but it was cheaper than all the others and I loooooooooove skate! My little Saturday treat, so I need to go and finish up my essay so that I properly deserve it.
Depending on how long I am in the library, I might skip the gym today and just go tomorrow, as my room and washing up really needs doing.
I also gave out my volunteering raffle prize letters, something I've been putting off for ages and got a good response so here's hoping that we'll get some prizes in.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
hope you got your essay done and enjoyed your skate

Essay is all done
Going to leave it to sit for a bit then whenever I go do my laundry (we don't have a washing machine so go up to the halls to use theirs) which will be either tomorrow or Thursday I'll take my laptop and do some editing whilst I wait - multi tasking!
I think I need to accept that from yesterday to Saturday is not going to be easy on my bank account. Went out with one of my societies last night and spent about £8 on drinks, not great but not too bad. Tonight the house is going out on a pub crawl which will be very expensive
and tomorrow night is a Christmas meal which I've already paid for but I'll need to buy drinks for - I think I might limit myself to one alcoholic drink and soft drinks the rest of the night though as I can't afford to buy too many boozy ones! Thursday is the house Christmas meal, which we need to go and buy, and Friday will probably be some more Christmas shopping. All in all, an expensive week.
Sorting out my train tickets for home after Christmas (got an exam that I need to come back for) and I can get 2 first class and 1 normal ticket for £55 with my £10 voucher
Now I just need to get RSH to work so I can book them, ha! My Dad said he'll send me the money for them which is very nice of him
No lectures today so I'm off into town to do some christmas shopping - Dad has requested I go and get Mum some chocolates from the Thorntons outlet shop we have up here (minimum 10% off RRP for everything in there, not much but it's better in my pocket than theirs!) and I need to finish up a secret santa present. Going to have a browse for some stocking presents but generally I want to leave them until I get home next week.
Need to also look online for a personalised calendar as a present, hopefully I can find a cheap deal that will get there by Christmas eve! Have a parcel to post home too. Eep.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
http://25.media.tumblr.com/d200eb6adb847b7347ebc2897c5b9b46/tumblr_meuw2r1Sq71qdlh1io1_250.gif Hehehe, made me laugh. Love the dog! Hopefully that'll brighten someone's Wednesday!
I've decide I'm not buying anything else (apart from a few predetermined things) until I leave uni on Wednesday. I just don't need to, and I already have a mountain of stuff to take home with me - the train's going to be packed so there's no point making it more difficult for everyone involved by filling my massive suitcase to the brim! I have more than enough food for the week, I can eat out of my freezer/cupboards for about three weeks
And unless I see something really nice online for my sister or her fiance, I'm done with presents or at least can wait until I go proper shopping with my sis and mum on the 20th!
Parents are pretty much done, BF is pretty much done, SS1 is done and wrapped, SS2 is waiting for something in the post, sister is a quarter done and sister's H2B is something I need to mull over, but I will probably end up getting my parents to buy something and transferring it over from me and my BF. For someone I've 'known' for 6 years I still don't know him very well... Last year I got him a book on Churchill's defence plans (he's a massive WW2 geek) but this year I just don't know. Should ask my sister really!
Got a christmas meal to go to tonight
Looking forward to it even though I didn't realise it was 'formal' attire so I need to put together an outfit pretty sharpish! I have plenty of nice dresses and stuff but it's making something Christmassy without really having anything christmassy... might try a tinsel belt around a black dress, lol. My nails are all sparkly
I've got red glitter on my thumbs and little fingers, green glitter on my index and ring fingers and gold glitter on my middle fingers. Looks ace but will be horrendous to take off!
Having a 'sort your life out' day (I always seem to have these moments on days where I actually have very little time and could do with just relaxing before an event) - I've tidied most of my room yesterday, today I'm going to tackle the two drawer chests that I have that I keep putting off, do my laundry and hopefully sort out my desk as well. Whilst my laundry is washing it's essay time
Just need to see when my housemate wants to go up to the halls site to wash stuff!
RE Calendar, I got all the way through one on Vistaprint, which was meant to be free, spent ages putting photos in, arranging it, making sure they were all good enough quality (which meant playing with the layout etc.!) - a good 5 hours on it - and I got to the end, about to pay and it changed from 'free' to full price (£12!) making the whole thing £24 rather than £11! £11 is expensive enough for a calendar! In the end I went with Funky Pigeon which is less photos but a better (slimline) format... I just hope the photos print out ok, because it didn't seem bothered by the quality of them like the Vistaprint calendar maker did.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0
