To combat Competition from new mobile Phone service Easy Mobile, The Carphone Warehouse have a Promotion on there 'Fresh' Tariff.

New Customers:
FREE Simcard when you buy with £10 of Credit (Credit Automatically Doubled to £20) - Top up In-Store Only With Cash at any Carphone Warehouse Store - Effective Call Rates 7.5 per minute, Any UK landline or Mobile Network & Text's effectively = 2.5p each To any UK Network

Any customer who tops up their fresh mobile sim or phone between March 11th and June 11th will have their credit matched by The Carphone Warehouse, meaning you effectively get calls for the half the original price per minute. The promotional credit is valid for 30 days from date of top-up and will only be decremented once the initial credit is used up. Top-ups by cash in store only

Existing Customers
Existing Fresh customers (on the One Rate, Fresh 30, Fresh 30 Extra, Freedom and Reducer tariffs only) are entitled to the new deal where a top up of ANY amount above £10.00 is doubled!

Easy Mobile started the price war with their service. Normally 15p for Calls inc X-net and 5p Text to Any network - Until End of June they are 9p & 3p (40% Discount).

    this offer looks interesting was thinking of getting a sim card for my daughter but the terms are not very clear to me I understand you pay £10 and carphone whearhuuse pay £10 so you have £20 of credit. How long do you have to use this not sure what decremented means? I take it you have 30 days to spend the £20

    The way I read it you have 30 days to use the £10 free promotional credit but it isn't very clear:confused:

    I know Fresh(CPW) use the T-mobile network, anyone got any idea what Easy Mobile use. Could make a difference to people. I have great indifference to T-mobile, bad call quality/coverage and dreadful customer service. Prefer Orange or Vodaphone.

    Just had a look at easy mobile, they use T-mobile as well, am going to give them a try as my orange contract is ending and I dont use my phone that much to justify the contract!

    you use your £10 first then the cpw's £10 so you need to use £20 in 30 days.

    personally, fresh mobile is a better deal than easymobile. and with fresh, you can walk into any CPW for customer service. to keep the line, you only need to make a call or sms every 60 days.
