Thank you Chrisblue 192 and syl484.

You'd think I was going for an Oscar with my performance on the phone to the car finance people. LOL. I have arranged to make payment over the phone tomorrow(when OH gets paid) and will then set the DD back up to start again in December. Only 16 more payments to go!!!

    Well today........

I have made a payment for car over the phone and started DD up again starting from next month.

OH has sorted car insurance, went with Mr T because they gave the best quote and best price to pay monthly, plus get a few club card points.

OH has had his CC company on the phone chasing this month payment, not sure what to do here. We could make a small payment and catch up next week. He said he'd call them back tomorrow while we ponder what to do.

Paid £9 for school photo of our youngest son. This is his second photo and as we didn't have the first one because it wasn't a good one and this one was much better I just felt that we should have it (and because I wanted it too). I know, I know, I know £9 is a lot of money in our situation.

On Ebay have got 29 watchers on one item but not one bid......yet!!

Has a bad day yesterday and overspent. Not sure why I did it,but feeling the brunt this morning as have just has the loan people on the phone. Have managed to put them off until Wednesday, which won't be any better as I don't get paid until next Monday. Plus OH still has got to pay CC's.

I keep saying once I get paid everything will start to get sorted. Why would it if i can't even sort out what little money we had this week???

Have got another busy weekend, I'm out all day today with the boys swimming and football, so will have to catch up with housework later. Tomorrow should be a better day, but the knee is still very painful.

On the plus side have been very good with regards to food this week so hopefully when i get on the scales tomorrow I will have a good result.

I'm off to check my Ebay stuff now, fingers crossed.

Today I have had a NSD which is great. :)

I really must look into putting all our dept details in my signature but for some unknown reason I struggle with this forum. I try to keep up with the diaries of the people who have very kindly posted on my diary but i can't keep track of them. I'll blame the laptop!!!

Must get my lists in order. I desperately need to sort the list of Christmas presents I need to get and December and January is a very expensive month for Birthdays too. So far I have kept costs down, so I aim to carry on being careful. After all it's the thought that counts.

And i am please to say I've lost another 2lb!!! 5lb in 2 weeks, possible due to the fact that i have been busy with sorting the house, ebay, detailing all our spending and the menu plan. Plus there isn't any 'goodies' in the house because there just isn't any money to buy any!!

Hope everybody has had a good weekend, feeling positive I can get through this week with a few more NSD. xx

You seem to be doing well with NSD's and weight loss.

I know what you mean about December being expensive. We only try to buy presents for as few people as possible. The most expensive are always our children. We have two teenagers, and my son is always after the latest laptop or phone.

Not a very easy money when you are trying to reduce your debt.

I wish you well in your journey and will continue reading your posts. :D

Thank you bonnington, I'm really trying hard with everything at the moment. I know what you mean about boys, one of my sons would like a scooter, they are about £80ish!!!

Have made about £40ish on ebay tonight (after taking out postage) which I'm thinking I might use to buy presents. As that way I'm not spending any of my wages. xx

When I find a diary I really like, I subscribe and then when you are in the board, it marks all of your subscribed threads so you can just pick up the ones that you find most interesting. I also tend to follow people who are in a similar position as me - I find that it incentivises me to keep going and if I am going to be around for a while, its nice to have others who are in it for the same duration :o

I also find seeing that figure in my signature definitely keeps me more on the straight and narrow. I sometimes feel a little conscious about posting on any of the other forums on here incase people judge me because of how much debt i have (not that I would be posting about what is the cheapest carribean cruise etc right now) but I spend most of my time on this board anyway.

Yay to go on the weight loss, what have you been doing, calorie counting/ww/exercise?
    Just keep swimming!

You made more money on ebay than I did.

I think I made about £8 from the sale of two items. All the re-listed items were unsold, yet again.

Keep up the food work! :D

Itsadogslife - I must find out how to subscribe to diaries and do my signature. When I feel down or that things are just getting too much I find it helps when I read how other people are coping. The weigh loss is just coming from healthy eating and I think the menu planning helps too, plus watching the pennies means not buying food we really don't need.

bonnington - I just hope everybody pays!!! I have got quite a lot of stuff to put on but I find it quite time consuming. But needs must ay!

Didn't have a NSD as when I went to fetch my son from his part time job at the retail park I popped into sainsburys and got some bread rolls that were reduced. Which is better than spending the £40-£50 I would of spent a few weeks ago on just rubbish.
