Don't know how you put up with it. Saintly is what you are Alice!
Does he pull his weight by doing anything around the house? It does sound like it's mostly down to you.

    Ooo I don't know about that V. :o.
He does, it's really strange. He will do things but more DIY stuff. When he's not having a strop he's fine, but it does seem that he strops a lot.:(

  • Just catching my breath after our weekend. This weekend was our 'holiday weekend' away. We were invited to a family celebration and decided that we'd stay in the hotel at the venue, and make use of the facilities. It has been really lovely, shame about the weather though. Spends were over just over £200, hotel, drinks and petrol.

Other news on the money front, our car broke down on Thursday, had to have a new coil pack, plugs and OH mentioned how it felt like we had a puncture, turned out needed a new shock abosorber. £175 later all sorted.

OH popped to supermarket this afternoon to get milk, fruit etc. Spent £26.

But the big news on the money front is that we have paid another debt off.:j:T. I did it on Thursday just before I found out about the car. It's probably a blessing that I did it before as had I known about the car I wouldn't of done it. We have had to break into the 365 jar and if I'm honest I can't see us catching that back up, but we'll see. So we are down to just 4 debts. Smallest is around £1100. But we are in the 11k's. :)

I should be happy about another debt gone but think I'm tired and hormonal....sorry TMI. and my feet hurt from dancing. :rotfl:

Off for an early night, will put my positive pants on tomorrow.

Well done on paying another debt off. Give yourself a pat on the back, you have done well. Take a deep breath and concentrate on the next one to pay off.

You've has a busy weekend so no wonder you are tired and a car that needed abit of TLC.

Who wants an easy life anyway:wink:

  • I've had today off work, and I did try and put my positive pants on this morning but woke up with a raging headache. Took DS3 to sports club, cost £10. I know it not very MSE to pay for an activity when I'm at home but I did budget for this......at the start of the holiday before the car and all that!!

Lost track of NSDs, had to get petrol today and some mushrooms, strawberries and cereal.

Currently got one load to peg out and the other on the machine. I'm not liking it now the nights are drawing in. :(

  • Yay finished work until Monday. :T

Came home about an hour ago and have not stopped eating. What it wrong with me. Lol

OH has had a letter from PRA, offering him 3 different payment plans. The balance is £1102, and this is the next debt on our hit list anyway.

Don't really have anything planned over the next few days. DS3 wants to go to the sports club, we will have to see. It's £10 a day.

Hopefully I've still got my mojo in the morning and can do something positive.

    Hi Alice,

I have been reading your diary for a while but never really looked at your signature properly. I just did and I wanted to say well done!

Way hay! Another debt gone for good. Ouch about the car though and your 365 savings. That must take a lot of cash each week if it's the one where you increase the amount you save by £1 each day over the year?? Probably got the wrong idea there. Anyway at least you had it for the car.
Don't mention the nights drawing in, I thought the same thing and didn't like the thought at all.
Have they offered money off for early settlement of your OH's debt?
    Enjoy your time off work.

Thank you, on a bit of a roll at the moment. Paid 3 debts off in a short space of time. :)
Might be a little while until the next one but will keep plodding.
