Evening all,
I haven't done much more than dailies today. I got roped into playing Sonic with Ds2 for ages. Then it was time to cook tea etc. I need to make a bit more of an effort tomorrow or i'll be spending all weekend cleaning.0 -
Hello everyone
Well that was a carp day... difficult day at work and leg became very painful so booked a GP appointment. Went at the appointed time only to be told knee was a little inflamed and he would prescribe ibufren. Then I repeated that my calf and thigh also hurt as I had already mentioned - he then changed his mind and sent me for a dime test. This only took a few minutes but I had to wait ages afterwards to get the results. Much to mine and his surprise it was positive and I appear to have a DVT. He then gave me 2 injections and then realised that they cost £93 each.
I now have to go to hospital tomorrow for a doppler scan and more injections. I feel a bit yuk tonight but not sure if its just all in the mind so but as a consequence I have done nothing on the flying front. I am off to bed in a minute as I have a headache and leg ache. Hopefully the hospital will tell me it was a false positive test result and nothing to worry about but I suppose my risk factors were a little higher as had surgery 4 weeks ago and did a long haul flight in August and September. Oh crumbs!!November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -

Thanks all for stepping in and providing lists. Extras this week are so relevant to me. I'm struggling with the extra to buy replacements but I have found a few duplicate utensils with broken partners and found some bit in the £ stores last time I was there so I'll have another sort of mine before the end of the week. Those darn plastic containers I'm terrible for, they need a super dooper sorting out
I've kept up with my basics so far this week and the washer/dryer is on like widow twanky's wash house. Pity the weather isn't better so I'm cringing with the drier on but we have reduced how much heating we use. Puppy doesn't like it too hota kick so far for everyone else to add a layer instead of adding to my gas bill! Tonight DP sat in a pair of shorts so I'm sure he can survive keeping it at 16 instead of the 20-22 he battles for.
Conference day tomorrow so I'm leaving DP in charge of ASBO puppy, see how they get along. He's only had him for an hour or so so far, this will be fun. That does mean limited time at home tomorrow, will try to do a bit on the eveningdeeply sad about the latest news about the other Red who's passed away today, so tragic. I know Soappie and several others are very fond of the arrows team, my son was in tears like I was when he seen the news
((hugs)) for you allOne day I might be more organised...........

Healing vibes going out to methekids and anyone else that needs them this morning.
Good luck to dancemum's DS1 and his exam.
My DS1 (and only) is in his first semester at Hull Uni and as well as studying Psychology he's learning how to clean vomit from the bathroom floor, how to operate washers and dryers, and what happens if you microwave a....doorstop/condom/whatever. Bless him!!!
Which leaves me at home alone and determined to turn this pit into a home he can bring friends home to. Can feel the BD nipping round my ankles this morning....it knows I have to ring the garage to get someone out to my car which turned into something possessed yesterday!! When I turned the ignition on all the doors locked and nowt else happened...am glad to say they then unlocked and let me out...eeek.
Am not going to look beyond getting dressed and doing the dailies before my next post...hopefully BD will realise I'm ignoring it and slink away, but am determined to continue flying tody.
Hugs to all that need them xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0
