    Hi Everyone :(

I am not doing much until Friday when kids are away for an overnight, jsut not got time this week, I did manage an S & S of bathroom and DH had the kitchen spotless (except hob) when I went home last night. I am having a mega batch of HHC's on Friday evening.

Bad news is, I had asked him to reseal the shower cubicle as water was leaking onto the floor, he called me to tell me that there has been a leak and under the tiles, the gyproc has dampness all the way up the shower walls, so now all the tiles have been taken off the wall & floor and I have been told I am not going back to much of an ensuite :eek: really could be doing without it at this time of year.

On the upside, got my steam iron thingy so had a wee play with it for an hour last night, only downside is that its noisy and you have to wait 15 mins before refilling water tank which is a bit of a pain.

I have decided that, after years and years and years, I need to get a new frying pan. The non stick didn't stick after about 5 years, so everything gets welded to it. Any recommendations for a brand? (I have no interest in fancy labels and actively shy away from celebrity endorsements, I just want something relatively indestructible and dishwasherable).
The basic range in John Lewis seem pretty good - can't remember the exact name - possibly "Essentials" or something like that. Anyways, they have green and white labels in the shop, and you don't need a mortgage to buy them. Can't comment on dishwasherability as we don't have a DW. HTH.

Mr LW has obligingly fixed the left brake on the wheelchair, so that's another item off Kaz's Extra's list done.:T
I've decluttered nearly £1K at the Fang Farrier's, but I do now have my new gnashers.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Good evening :D

Bathroom done (need to empty bin, wipe windowsill & rinse bath& shower drains as I put stuff down them). Kitchen looks pretty reasonable aswell :p
2 loads of washing done, need to dry the 2nd load. Dog taken for a walk around the park this afternoon. Dinner cooked & eaten, and all dishes in DW ready to be put on. Not too bad :j

I have more studying to do, and paperwork. Not enough hours in the day for all the paperwork :( I also need to update the art club accounts. maybe I will do that next....

    My update for today is:
Tuesday - Landing, hallway, spare room, etc. Jobs done

    Level 1
Remove clutter off floor and rehome / recycle
    Clean floors
    Removed any cob webs
    Level 2
Remove any sticky finger marks from stairs / walls
Is spare room going be to used over Christmas, - No
    Level 3

15mins you time doing whatever you like – Nice glass of wine to relax with (after the kids are asleep of course)

    Declutter mission
Fling all that clutter no excuses – This is an ongoing project as we are sorting through the garage in prep. for a side extension to the house.
    Other Tuesday jobs done
    Morning:
All windows opened for airing the house
    DS dropped off at school
Beds made and turned back for airing
    Fed fish
    WM on with first load
Bins emptied and freshened up (I do this every day)
Dry laundry sorted and stacked ready for ironing
    1/2 hour of ironing
Dropped DD off at nursery school
    Afternoon:
Hung out washing & TD on
Put second lot of washing on
Did weekly shopping (took longer than usual as the shop was packed)
Picked up DS and DD from School
Hung second lot of washing out
    Cooked dinner
    Bathed the kids

Was in a real CBA mood today after my DD waking up a lot last night. However, I kept thinking about what I was gonna put as my update and that spured me on to get on a do things. Thanks for the motivation :-)
