OH has scuppered my HHC again, he must have an inbuilt HHC sensor. He's working 10 mins away now instead of 1hr 15mins so popped in for lunch.

Have decided to swap days and tackle the kitchen today, as DS's room needs moving around a bit so his bed isn't under the window and I'm best doing that tomorrow when he's not here. Just finishing my lunch then I'll crack on.

    Wednesday - Kitchen
    Level 1

    [STRIKE]Wipe over surfaces
    Clean toaster / kettle / microwave[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Clean lights, take care please, no falling off steps or ladders[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean tablecloth
All junk off table and rehomed.[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Clean out fridge, out of date / fluffy food bin
Clean extractor fan and replaced filter.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean out a cupboard you have been dumping stuff in - tupperware[/STRIKE]
    Declutter mission
[STRIKE]Chuck out all old dish cloths / j cloths / such like that are manky[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Chuck out all ‘going’ rusty / split kitchen utensils, buy new ones[/STRIKE]

Lights were cleaned last week, fridge cleaned out on Sunday, no extractor fan, dishcloths purged recently.

    Extras which apply to me:
Check over store cupboard for food, add basic food stuffs if needed
Do a meal plan for the next week, using up freezer / cupboard stock
Make 20 min for a home made spa / face mask / you time
Drag out everything from under the bed storage unit or similar, sort out, rehome / freecycle anything you have not used for a while / don’t need.
Make those appointments you have been putting off, ie doctors / dentist / hair / vets / bank.
    Check all smoke alarms work
Add 5 items to this list of your own, that are achievable this week.

Just 5 more minutes then I'll start *dodges fluffy mule*
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

I'm in again this week just abit late in getting started. I managed to declutter half a tooth on sunday, seen dentist yesterday and he managed to fill it but if it comes out i'll have to have a crown. :(

Kids starting to recover from the cold and cough but looks like OH is getting it. Also spent today so far decluttering money for clothes for the wedding on saturday. DD already running about with a red nose, Eva has the cough so i think sister and BIL may decide not to go. Wish i could get out of it...:o

House is pigging and i just want to sleep, stupid AF is here for a visit too..

Hugs to everyone who needs them and get well soon for poorlies. I'll duck in later if i manage to get anything done..:o
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • I look at things when the weather is foul outside and think

Is it made of wool/a jumper? (correct answer = NO)

Is it a nylony material? (correct answer = NO)

Can I just about fit into it as it is? (correct answer = NO)

Would it be a disaster if it shrunk? (correct answer = NO)

If all of those conditions are satisfied, then it goes into the TD.

    WM on.

I have done no more than make my bed and collect up food related nastiness from Minion's takeaway last night and put into stinky recycling along with various boxes and whatnots that go in the blue (or is it green?) box. This fortnightly collections nonsense isn't getting any easier yet. Especially as the temptation is, knowing that they refuse all tetrapacks and plasticised foil pouches, to get stuff that you know just goes in the main bin without having to sort it all out by hand. Or chuck it in the bag with the cat litter.

I have decided that, after years and years and years, I need to get a new frying pan. The non stick didn't stick after about 5 years, so everything gets welded to it. Any recommendations for a brand? (I have no interest in fancy labels and actively shy away from celebrity endorsements, I just want something relatively indestructible and dishwasherable).

I have been up from my comfortable seat 7 times in the last 45 minutes to let the cat back in through the front door. He's coming in, having a munch on some crunchies, then he's wandering out the open back door, climbing the wall, walking through to the front, wandering around out there for five minutes tops then howling to be let in again. Why can this animal not understand that the back door is not a one way valve?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Decided to fill the green bin with leaves so that I had achieved at least something. Off to do the bathroom next in shaker style.
