:rotfl: Actually I've felt quite warm this year, and although I do layer up a lot, most of those layers are (charity shop) silk!

Plus, my arms wouldn't be sticking out at the sides. Well, only one of them. The other one hangs down as much as possible, doesn't like being up in the air.

I've wondered about the electric fleeces, but I just feel I'd feel the cold whenever I stood up. I was tempted by one for the car because we used to have heated car seats (at least on the passenger side) and we don't any more. But I've resisted so far! Cigarette socket is usually commandeered for a reading light, anyway, at least when it's cold enough to want a blanket on!
