must admit all this waiting for results is awful and messing with my head and the thought of all the treatment that lies ahead again if it's back again is making me feel sick to the core...got the hospital at 10.15 am so must try and get some sleep but can't settle at the moment0

The cancer is back again,apparently 2 out of the 7 lymph nodes they took away had cancer.I have to have a CT scan to see if it's spread any further and then we will discuss treatment options...
I really don't understand how it has got there...they are calling it a recurrence.
On a brighter note they have removed my stitches and it's healed quite well but they've given me a course of antibiotics as I'm quite red...0 -
Oh taxi, I am sorry to hear that. So you will have to go through another round of treatment - do you know yet what kind of treatment it will be.
I'll be thinking of you and I know your many other MSE friends will too. I hope your family will take good care of you while you go through it.
