Peace after pain Taxi, my sincere condolences to Mr Taxi, and her children and grandchildren - all of whom she loved so much. Taxi has been such an inspiration to me and so many others. Her kind, common sense will be much missed.

I'm so shocked. That seemed too sudden. Got to know Taxi in 2010 and she was such a gentle, funny and down to earth lady and she was always there to give support. My thoughts go out to her family and especially JJ.
ClootiesMum I've taken your lead and made a donation to Macmillan Nurses as I know Taxi praised their help and support.

Oh gosh, I'm just stunned to come on here now and read this.

I went to a gift shop this afternoon to find something to send to Taxi. I spent ages looking for a card that suited and also found a beautiful glass 'friendship globe', thinking that she could hang it in the window.

I bought 2 cards in the end, couldn't choose between them and neither are really appropriate now.

I'm so glad she's not in pain any more, but I feel so much for the pain her family are feeling now.

A wonderful lady, full of love, compassion and support for others.

Thank you for all that you gave to me

I was so sorry to read this. Taxi showed me such kindness and support over the years. I will miss her terribly.
I send her family my condolences and hope that they will remember the many happy times and memories that they shared.
I will send a donation to Macmillan in her memory.
