Instead I shall say that her family - who she loved so much - are very much in my thoughts right now. they have lost a Mum, a Gran, and a confidante, and we have ALL lost an absolute inspiration. Same here. just heard from Memory Girl about this and came to send my good wishes, but sadly too late.
Taxi's was one of the first threads I ever followed on MSE, I loved her attitude to life and her moral standards.

I need tell no one here what she meant to me and my journey. That is so terribly, terribly sad.
My sincerest condolences to Taxi's family and friends. I never met her in real life, but I enjoyed hearing about her life here on MSE and felt that I 'knew' her in many ways, even though I didn't.
I'm glad that she is not in pain anymore and I hope that this is some comfort to those who knew and loved her.
Thanks for everything, Taxi. It was a pleasure and an honour knowing you. Please call me 'Pickle'

Just heard this a few minutes ago. I'm heartbroken. I only met her once, and that was after her first diagnosis, but I met such a vibrant woman, so real, such a connection between us. We went off and had a chat about things together, its always stayed with me.
Rest in Peace, Taxi dearest. It was always there for you, and you have it for always now.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
