How lovely to see the crowd around here...I do miss you all xx Wonder if we can get Z out of the woodwork too.It cheers me up to hear from you all...it's lovely that so many people take the time to come on here.

I picked JJ up from after school club and the teacher said good luck as he's in real live wire mood...I knew he would be as he gets so excited to stay here.
He was as good as gold tonight so I let him stay up until 9pm.One of his hilarious conversations whilst he was at the table demolishing a rather large bowl of his grandads home made lentil soup was...

DD2 and I couldn't stop laughing...I love that little man as he has everyone in stitches...
Another one..we were in Lidl getting some bits on the way back home and he was chattering away as he does...
Grandma...JJ can you just be quiet for a minute so I can concentrate on what I'm getting.
JJ....Yes of course I will but you've only had me for about 20 minutes so I guess I'm goin g to drive you mad by the end of the weekend cos I never shut up and just think you've got me every weekend but at least you'll get a rest monday -friday teatime to put up with it all again...lol

Does the little chap know you've been 'poorly'? Sorry, didn't mean to belittle what you've been through, just called it that as its probably what his Mum told him was wrong. Very difficult for parents to speak about such things to young children so as not to scare them but your family sound so well-balanced and loving that he will no doubt have realised that his fun Gran hasn't been herself for a while now (although I'm sure you do your utmost to be 100% when with him).

Don't let the little bundle of energy wear you out!
Have a wonderful weekend together though, you can always rest on Monday as he so wisely says.

Bless his heart, he still sounds the little cheekie chappie, I always remember you saying about the bob the builder shower bat when he went out in it to the icecream van.
