Taxi, just catching up again, fingers crossed its just fatty tissue or a cultist or something but well done on you for spotting it and talking about it, I hope you don't have long to wait for the tests so that it can put your mind at ease ... Will be thinking of you xxx
Had a wee smile thinking of you having your coffee in town in the nippy weather ... I bet you felt very alive0 -
Managed to get myself out of the door today to do the banking and post the cards and to pop to home bargains.
Phoned the oncologists secretary this morning about the scan..she phoned the dept and they said it would probably be a week or two before I get it..
Am having JJ this weekend and looking forward to that.0 -
Gah at having to wait a couple of weeks, but well done for phoning, and also for getting out to do things today. xxxI'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. Thanks everyone x
I'm on a roll now.DH and I went out today to pick up a bed for JJ and then on to the garden centre.Had a coffee outside and an ice cream, had a wander around and then bought some meat and other bits...wore me out but was good to go out...hopefully this means I'm getting a bit better and over the agrophobia that hit me so bad.0 -
Hi Taxi! Yes, getting out and about a bit is a good thing, just doing that will make you feel a bit better, I should think, and as you say it avoids full scale agoraphobia setting in.
But bloody hell about the other lumps! Glad you felt able to say it on here. Do bear in mind they could well be age-related, like the stuff I had a few years ago - cysts and whatnot, and I *really* hope thats all it is
**hugs**2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well done on going out Taxi - you've done it once - it should get easier.
You're an inspiration to us all.

Well done getting out and about.
I'm here waiting for District Nurse but maybe out for small wander later with the Boy and the Hound. Being out and about does wonders for the mind, I just need a very large boot to get me out there:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Exhausted myself yesterday as I didn't get up until 2pm(though didn't go to sleep until late either).
I need to try and tidy up a bit today as I think MH nurse is due tomorrow..can't find the slip of paper she gave me so I best not hang around here long0 -
Take it easy. I'm sure MH Nurse won't give two hoots about how tidy you are rather than how rested you feel.
I'm sitting here munching on nuts which will hopefully work with the horse tablets to bring my magnesium levels up. Feel zero benefit thusfar but early days and they are the tastier of the two options even if they contain about a zillion calories per bite:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
