    Have slept loads all weekend.
We had a lot of snow friday during the day and then overnight friday but it all went yesterday thankfully.
I'm just going to rest plenty over the coming weeks

Absolutely! Chillaxing v v important ... especially cos you're coping with the aftermath of that flu as well ... can't imagine what its like to have flu and rads together :( you're doing brilliantly.

Just catching up, sorry. Bleugh, flu. That cannot be pleasant on top of the rads. Do make sure you are getting as much rest as you need.

Yikes! 6.15pm for the rads? I hope that sort of timing agrees with you - I understand they've got to run their machinery for as long as possible, to get the most advantage out of it, but it just seems late ... hopefully you can get straight to bed afterwards? You're starting your busy day right now, anyway, hope it goes well.

    Hey inapickle,
This made me laugh because "less emphasis on the "chill"" implies more emphasis on the "ax"!!

Do we really want to encourage this!!!:rotfl:

Today is dragging and I'm quite tired.MH worker called this morning and we're going to work on stuff after I've finished my rads.
The occupational health lady or whatever they are called came round...the bed thingy is no good as it's broken and not big enough anyway...she showed me how to use the board and has marked the wall for grab handles...she is off to work out the bed conundrum...I have 2 very deep mattresses on it which is causing the problem for the rail.
DH is having tonight off as he's been to have car stuff done..new tyres, bulbs etc so he's just having a kip and he's driving me to radiotherapy tonight.
    Tomorrows radiotherapy is 8 am.
