    Hi Tilly,:hello:

It must have been your thought vibes that drew me back from my slumbers! Ha Ha!

I'm good thanks. Just been SO busy recently, hardly had time to think straight. Things are looking up for me and so it's definitely time to get back to MoneySaving in a focused way. I see you're flying along mortgage-wise. How amazing you are!

I'll be restarting a diary in a bit so I hope you'll pop in for a read and to chew the fat!

  • Morning, well just :o

DS came home yesterday and since then the WM has been on the go. Sleeping bag and liner drying on the line, in the sun :T. Sun, we go away tomorrow and now the sun comes out

House looks like a tip as DS has his stuff all over the kitchen, breakfast room, utility, hall, stairs, landing, his bedroom - how can he have carried this much stuff :eek: Anyway, it will all be finished by mid afternoon and then we are off to the cinema.

Mr T is doing man jobs (apologies for sexism) with the car.

DS has been asked to join CP - he said Yep, free money which I can apparently 'buy from him' :rotfl:

Trip to the CS required today - decluttering is going well. We will do the MM pick up once we are home. S&S up to date as is CP. I've claimed another £15 from TCB - I think that near £50 in a month.

I am 1300 points away from YG payout. I've done some interesting work related ones recently. Makes me laugh at some of the random questions thrown in at the end.

I hope everyone is enjoying some sun - the North seems to have had so much rain.

    Best wishes Tilly

  • I hope you have a fantabulous break away Tilly with *the team* ;) Fingers crossed you get to meet up with luverly MSE'rs too :D Hopefully the time away for you will pass s-s-s-l-o-o-o-o-w-w-w-w-l-l-y-y, but for us it will be quickitty, quick, quick, quick, and you'll be back inspiring us left, right and centre, tout de suite! :D

Any vacation *foodie fabulousness* reports will be devoured by yours truly - so feel free to elucidate on your return ;):D

    Safe travels!

  • Hi Greying, sadly we won't be having a continental European meet as we've been invited to see a chum who is really ill. She's had chemo and radio treatment but sadly looks like she is losing the battle. Only found out yesterday about the sudden downward spiral (she'd been winning the battle before) - wicked disease, so Mr T and I are off up north to see her. DS will be staying at the house, apparently revising and preparing for 6th form :p. Not sure I believe that :rotfl:

However, we do have two meet ups already scheduled for 2016 :T

A fish dish which I love is Cataplana and it's served in a domed lidded metal container - delicious. Eaten in a beach restaurant and watching the sun go down - FAB.

Right, cinema delayed due to myriad jobs - all the washing, drying, ironing, putting away is done :j.

Stuff to take in the car is packed up and waiting in an orderly queue. Two ready mixed JD and cokes may have jumped into the trolley at Mr A, when I went to buy Euros. They are for Mr T - travel sickness tabs and two JDs - he'll be asleep for 15 hours :)

Right, off to have my second shower of the day, then get ready for the cinema.

Thanks for the good wishes, Tilly x x x
