MCI, I am struggling with the slowing down thing but I definitely have to learn this skill

Glorious sunny, but cold, morning. No money news whatsoever but Mr T is paid on Friday and I'll be shuffling. H@lifax shuffle done and CT paid by credit card again. It is giving us an annual cashback of circa £30 just for this. May not be a lot in the grand scheme of things but it's £30 we haven't had to earn.

Thats exactly it, isn't it - if you do a few more things like that, you're up to £500, which *is* a sizeable amount of money.Tilly_MFW_in_6_YRS wrote: »No money news whatsoever but Mr T is paid on Friday and I'll be shuffling. When you say H@li shuttle, Tilly, do you mean the thing of opening an account and shuffling the same money through it and out again? I don't do that yet
must try harder. 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Afternoon Karmacat, that's it exactly. Mr T and I have a H account and move £850 in and out to each account, from FD - two separate moves from FD to H to FD, then the same again with the same £850.
£5 reward paid at the beginning of each month and that's moved to MOS. Have to bear tax in mind but it's still free money

Morning, Mr T is away at the moment but I'm sharing something he did yesterday. He came across a homeless man. He didn't walk past, he turned around, went into a shop, bought coffee, bananas and a sandwich. He gave them to the man and had a quick chat with him. This might not seem like a lot, but Mr T is not known for random acts of kindness. I don't mean he isn't kind but he would normally be in a hurry and not take any notice of what's happening around him. I feel really proud of him for doing this.
OK, back to :money: updates. 34p Tilly Tidied to MOS. £67 confirmed on TCB and another £121 awaiting confirmation. Dog food ordered on line via TCB.
Ironing was up to date but I have a few things to do today. I'm not letting anything build up and will do them this morning.
Have a good day. Tilly x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

What a lovely kind thing Mr Tilly did
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Morning Watty, I must admit to being very surprised Mr T stopped. Things could happen under his nose and normally, he wouldn't have a clue :rotfl:

I had my fourth night (not consecutive) of good sleep yesterday and boy, does it make a difference to how you feel.
I hope everyone has sun and an opportunity to get outside in it for a while.
