As we tightened our belts again to make aure we can be MF next year, I've cut cash for massage treats - am beginning to think that was a mistake.

9 months to meet an arbitrary, self-imposed target? Or 10 months with you happy and well-adjusted (in more ways than one :D)? You know what to do woman :naughty:. You're no good to me if you're a physical wreck - we have plans you know :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I love it :rotfl: Have a good'un, Tilly. Makes you think about the price of tea vs coffee, doesn't it! If I have a drink when I'm out, I always have tea - I just have one coffee a day, in my own house, because I like it **strong**, with very little milk, and hot - I'm very finicky about my coffee :D

    Must do another YG ....

I have to say, I view things like massages as fairly essential - they are good for your wellbeing, which then tips over into all other areas of your life. Tense shoulders & neck and tension headaches are no good to anyone! If you benefit from massages, perhaps still have them but less often? If you used to have them monthly, stretch to every 6-8 weeks? I'm biased in my view of them but the mental benefits and sleep benefits that can be obtained from them are priceless :D

  • I had my first massage in years a few weeks before my op. The therapist was lovely and when I asked what knots etc meant she explained thoroughly, followed by 'you're well past the knot stage, your whole back seems to be fused together'

Will be making it a monthly thing I think, at least 6 weekly (she knew this before telling me about my back so I know she wasnt trying to get me to come back) :p

  • I never have massages as I don't like being touched by strangers. Save the money and have a bubble bath instead!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
