you can't beat watching a grown man sitting on the floor with his dogs trying to sit on his lap. Bear in mind there's two dogs and only one lap :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And they're not exactly lap size dogs :D

Hi tilly, I hope you don't mind but I felt the need to crash your thread and tell everyone how good my heated airer is what with all the talk of electric gobbling td's :D

It was about £90 from l*keland , but uses less than 5p ph , I can get a full three loads on at a time and it dries in a day , plus everything can go on it even delicates , so no more whacking the heating up when I forgot to wash the kids pe kits :D honestly everyone I have told about it loves it after they have bought one!

Ah - but no :smileyheainternal light :smileyhea

Sorry for being stupid, but what is the purpose of the internal light? To watch the clothes drying? To see then the drum is empty? What?
Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

I wish I knew about these before we bought a new TD in Feb! Oh well, we'll know better next time!

  • Peace prevails - breakfasted out, not sure we will need dinner, so it may end up in the freezer.

Nigel Slater, Tender, Hungarian pork casserole (stew)

Off walking the hounds shortly and looking forward to watching them play :)

On the tumble dryer topic, I do use the water from the condenser on the garden. It hasn't killed anything so far

    Best wishes, Tilly x

  • Weird weather here today. Cold, rain, sun, dark cloud with blue sky, more rain and finally sun and dark cloud.

Lovely relaxing day, even with preparing breakfast :). Hungarian pork dish in the oven cooking on low. Smells yummdiddlyum :T

I'm collecting DD from work soon then going to the park to chuck some balls through the hoop :):):)

Ok enough smilies, I'd better crack on. Potatoes still to peel as Mr T fancies creamy mash (using a little creme fraiche) with dinner - yes we are eating :)

  • Morning, grey old day here. The peas are looking decidedly eaten and I'm planting more today. In fact I'm going to put in quite a few seeds today. Off to church shortly and then a couple of returns to do - fortunately stuff DD bought, not me :). I'm back to deep pockets/short arms :T

Smoked gammon joint was cooked yesterday with AF chilli 'stuff', bay leaves, star anise and a couple of cloves. I haven't decided what to serve it. Home cooked gammon is a favourite here and everyone keeps asking for their choice.

It's payday tomorrow for Mr T and the first one since September :T:T:T.

H@lifax shuffle done. The joys of on line banking :)

I'm getting involved with Christians Against Poverty, early days and what a quiet but powerful contribution they are making.

I haven't mentioned Food-banks for a while but their needs keep rising. At some point, I'm hoping there may be a healthy debate between increased usage of Food-banks and benefit changes. I'd urge anyone who can, to donate something - none of us know what lies around the corner and those struggling to cope can swiftly move to not being able to cope.

Right, that's me done, I need to get some ironing finished before leaving the house as I want the time I have today to be spent on rewarding stuff.

    Best wishes, Tilly
