Well done indeed Andy
Celebrated with a very traditional cream tea. So much better than Croatian sausages or whatever it might have been :rotfl:.

What a fantastic afternoon and evening yesterday.
No pennies to TT OP - that's the downside of spending so little, there's no pennies lurking
Anyway, still focussing and preparing for a long weekend away. Busy work week, no spend 5 days, so that takes us through to Friday. Spends on Saturday but not before. Could be a challenge :rotfl:
It's been a busy few weeks catching up with friends and family. I appreciate the friends I've made through this forum. It's good to meet people who understand and it makes for very different relationships.
Night all. I'm working from home tomorrow and intend having a lie in, then ironing, then starting work on time

Andy Murray is the first Brit to win Wimbledon in 77 years ( not saying anyone here has said this btw)
Statements like that make my blood boil, is Virginia Wade not a Brit ? Or is it a case of women are not important enough to be considered as winners ?
Grrrrrr
Thought it was quite a poor match tbh, there were so many faults and stupid mistakes, at one point i was shouting that i could play better tennis ... then i remembered i cant:rotfl::rotfl:
don't get me wrong I'm delighted Andy won the game, but if that's the standard of top tennis, then the standards have dropped, and what was with the grunting? If that was a women's final there would have been so many comments made by the presenters about the grunting
Maybe I was just expecting more:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Morning, I forgot to post about this last week.
DS has has his first money education session at school. Early days and sounds like the kids in the class were pretty poorly informed/aware. Glad to see :money: will be making a difference for children in the UK.
