Morning, delightful grey summer day

12p TT OP
Given that we have stepped into autumn early, I'm making toad in the hole for dinner
I may have sold another piece of china to the guy at work, whose wife collects the same stuff - may know this week, if not early next. Could be another £80 for the OP pot.
I'm loving this decluttering phase, although I do understand I'm stripping the house of stuff, it leaves a clean/clear feeling in my head - apologies if I sound like a nutter, that's not worded particularly well.
Have a good day and I hope somewhere the sun is shining.
Best wishes Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Is that the same woman who has made previous purchases from the Tilly collection?
I know exactly what you mean about decluttering, I firmly believe that possessions can become a psychic burden! By that, I don't mean the toaster is reading your mind

Gawd, I seriously need to declutter. I spent £1000 on having lovely wood flooring put down (70% off retail price - bargain) and I can't see it because of all the boxes of "stuff" that take up so much space.
I've seriously got Hoarder Syndrome. I keep everything - it's embarrassing when folk call for coffee. LOL

I also need to declutter (I expect most people do). We had people in to measure for carpets the other day and I thought they would have the digital reader, but no came with a good old fashioned tape measure. I was slightly embarrassed at the clutter we had pushed to the sides of the rooms.0

It is and I have a special piece,of the same type, which I think she may like. Twenty years ago I collected a particular type of porcelain - Hungarian - and she seems to have caught the bug. I really did like it but not sure now, why I bought so much. However, I would keep a couple of examples but that would be all.edinburgher wrote: »Is that the same woman who has made previous purchases from the Tilly collection?

Honestly Mr E, at the beginning of this year I felt, in fact we all did, weighed down by stuff and it was quite a weird feeling. Once we had emptied the loft and sorted that out, it made a massive difference. This meant the whole house seemed to be upset by stuff everywhere and it made it easier to tackle a room at a time and CS, eb@y, out in the car boot pile, or skip.
Right, I'm off for a very rare glass of wine - Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

If I was to come for coffee and you apologised for stuff all over my response would be, "don't be daft I've come to see you, not your house Hun"
I'm a bit of a hoarder and I've found the people who matter don't mind and the people who mind don't matter!
