I have serious house envy, even just someone describing decor makes me all gooey inside;)

You know how I just hate to sully my own diary? Well I've decided to do a tillysillysully on yours instead....I have SPENT money on a housie magazine(s). But, I am rather pleased as 6 issues of homes and gardens for six squid and 3 m*lten brown products chucked in.

This isn't too bad is it????
Thanks for this. I've just put my order in. :)

    Good news tatty cath.
I have just sold some WC stuff on EBay..unintentionally made a stinking profit. Am still in shock..does nobody read what the RRP is for some of this stuff??

I will EBay any good branded freebie smellies in future too...have listed a few recently and to be fair they have all sold. The other thing I have done is give them away as presents...everyone has been delighted. Either way..it's MSE!

  • Good morning, £3.89 TT OP. Mr T has been paid.

Really missing our lodger - she was such good company :o. Plus the money was good too :o

Financial night tonight. Receipts, spending diary etc. We know how to party :)

Dinner this evening is chicken risotto, using carcass from yesterday to make stock.

    Have a good day, Tilly

When you do your financial night do you sit down as a family? Couple? Do you get all your receipts and check them off and see how well your doing etc ? Would be handy to get some other people's ideas on how to do it
  • Morning El, we print out spending diary, bank statements and credit card statements, then as a couple we work through each item. Spending diary is then updated on line to show reconciled and that's it for anther month. It would save paper doing it on line but we prefer to sit together with one ticking off one sheet, the other ticking the other.

Once you are in the routine it works well :)

BTW, Mr T brought all the papers upstairs with a cuppa and we've actually just finished the financial updates, so that's one thing off the list for tonight :T

  • Surfaces for air....phew!

    On page 111 now.

Going to apply for Shop & Scan and see if they accept me - could do with an easier way other than surveys to get amazon vouchers.
