  • It will be strange not having you around next week but I hope you manage to switch off and recharge your batteries while you're away. I always get really fed up the week before a holiday, it's as if my brain knows we are nearly there but can't seem to carry on the daily grind for those last few days!
Slow progress is better than no progress.
  • Hope you have a wonderful holiday! We are going away, but only for the weekend - it is lovely looking forward to a break though.

We will hold the fort while you are away, you will have a great time and come back all recharged and perky again :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Mr T and I had a chat about the holiday whilst walking the dogs. It's Wednesday, go away the weekend, no money, no plan :eek:, need to find insurance docs. So this evening will be spent with lap top, planning the trip (better late than never), will have to be cash from ASd@ as too late to order on line but we can at least pick it up this evening.

Tomorrow evening I will whizz to M@talan as I need to buy a couple of bits. Then will do the packing with everyone. Thankfully the kids do their own packing.

Hope you are feeling better this morning GG

  • Have a great holiday and come back recharged. Think how you will feel when you have earned your freedom.

    All the very best,

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Enjoy your well earned holiday Tilly! :)
  • How was the lasagne? And more importantly are you organised for going away yet?!

 grrrr my post just got eaten

Just stopped by to say hello and wish you a wonderful holiday Tilly. Relax and enjoy!

    BW :)
  • Evening, right itinerary planned, money collected. Lasagne eaten (mmm).

I won't mention work, just thankful I am on holiday soon :j

47p OP made - however I do know that my bonus for end of the year has been approved, so hopefully I may be able to double that OP by December :rotfl:

Thursday tomorrow, dog walking early in the morning and looking forward to some quiet time with Mr T. Busy day scheduled and fridge raid on the menu, huge salad using left over bits and pieces, smoked bacon, boiled eggs, anchovies, with new potatoes.

All financials updated, S&S submitted today rather than Saturday.

Have a great half term to those off next week, and enjoy the rest of the week, for those already broken up. For those without kids, enjoy the quieter roads :)

    Best wishes Tilly x
