  • To all those who have popped by with good wishes today, many thanks. I had a complete melt down and felt like selling the house yesterday evening. However, I am back on track today and once my vacation is over, will be bunging the next lot of stuff on eb@y. I will post a list when I get back of things I aim to complete by end 2012, to provide the necessary focus to finish.

This virtual family thing is pretty cool - I know I have helped people out before, but being able to raise a cry for help and have people who step in to lend some support, is pretty phenomenal.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

Aaagggggghhhh I draw the line at deep fried pizza, the occasional fish and chip meal is ok, but battered pizza

For anyone who has a penchant for these, my apologies for offending your sensibilities but I just can't get my head round deep frying a pizza

As a Glaswegian, I have experienced two different types of deep fried pizza. One is basically what it sounds like (a small pizza deep fried), while the other is the notorious 'pizza crunch'. This is half a margherita pizza battered and then deep fried! I have only been drunk enough to enjoy the pizza crunch on one occasion :o

Glad you're feeling better today Tilly, totally agree that having supportive voices is a fantastic feeling, even in cyberspace.

    Belated group hugs T.

You are doing this because life isn't a rehearsal. Sometimes there is craziness, sometimes the world is fantastic, but always we are trying to do what feels right and to make time for family and friends - clearing the mortgage will make for more quality time with the people you love. Also, MSE is an amazing community - you can't give up sharing the mindset and feeling of community with so many like-minded friends that you've just not met yet.

Deep fried creme egg anyone ?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Glad you are back on track Tilly :).
  • NP and GG, having checked the link out I definitely don't fancy that at all. Mr T said it sounds pretty similar to Chinese deep fried banana dessert things. I'll stick to a bar of chocolate occasionally :T

Hi Greent, Gypsy toast, what a lovely way to describe eggy bread. I am going to adopt that in the Tilly household from now on

Thanks again for the lovely comments. :o I feel a little embarrassed as I don't feel particularly inspiring :o

I am off for an early night and really looking forward to Friday evening. No work for a week, plenty of fun time with Mr T and the kids :T. Can't wait.

Best wishes to all, Tilly x x

  • Morning, 45p account tidy up OPd and off for a dog walk now. I don't think I can go a week without OPing so will go on line a few times :)

Meal this is evening is HM lasagne from the freezer, with salad. I am emptying the fridges from Wednesday onwards, so come Friday evening it could be a marvellous concoction. It won't be a takeaway as we need all money to be added to holiday spending cash :T

    Have a good day, Tilly x x
