    Good morning!

Goodness you are organised on the Xmas front. I thought I was doing well having bought some presents already. I tend to buy things as I see them early in the year and then start a proper list and buying things from September onwards to spread the cost. I don't wrap as I go along though - maybe I should as it always seems such a daunting task doing it all at once!
I'm also with you on the fact shops are horribly busy in December and I try to avoid them at all costs. Do love that fact we can shop online!! :T Life is definitely easier with that option

    Have a good sunday

p.s - would you do my ironing too please? lol
  • Cuppa near me, the Archers on the radio, and mr T is just printing the bank/cc statements so that we can tie out spending diary, receipts.

Veggies, stuffing and chickens prepared for dinner this evening. I need some chicken stock and extra chicken for recipes this week, so thought I'd get two cooked, chuck the carcasses in the SC and make the stock tomorrow.

I had the most awful nightmare just before waking this morning - truly terrifying, so poor Mr T was woken for emergency hug and talking to. I cannot believe that a dream can be so lifelike. It's still in the back of my mind so may need to destract myself.

Off to have a read of diaries and then start on the financials.

I actually don't mind ironing too much but would still rather I didn't have to do it! LOL:rotfl:

You are most welcome. I am also in the frozen - well, not-as-yet-frozen northwest. If only, the surveys rewarded us with energy/fuel vouchers instead of shopping, it would have been nice.

For those interested in joining the rival Nielsen Consumer panel - yet another scanning survey - here is the link. I have read somewhere that this is less rewarding than S&S and a bit cumbersome too. But, I have applied for this recently and have been accepted. :D

    Good night, fellow MFWs:)

  • Hi Tilly,

I'm a seriously long time lurker here and I too have just read your diary and wow your are an inspiration to so many people :j (I may start my own diary after much debate over the last few years!)

I was wondering if you could PM the name of the site that you get your lodgers from as I have lodgers to pay back the money I borrowed from the bank of mum and dad to buy my house but I'm struggling to find the right one atm?

    Thanks in advance,

    Littlefred

  • Hi Littlefred, my advice would be to start a diary. I lurked for over a year and I should have just started. Thanks for your lovely comments. So many people inspired me and it's great to know I can do the same :)

I'll look out for you. I have PMd the site to you.

    Good luck, Tilly x
