I'm up too at stupid o'clock though drinking tea inside as doesn't look warm enough to sit outside but its not raining
I never used to eat raspberry's cause " they are scary as they are hairy" but I'm now a convert
Only recipe I know is to add a layer of slightly squished raspberry's or strawberry's mixed with a bit of sugar to the middle of a tiramisu to give a bit of surprise and to cut through all the lovely creamy chocolate stuffMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

That sounds like a delicious twist on tiramisu - I will be telling DH about that - he is just coming too - is this where I tell him how many weeds have sprouted over th last 3-4 days - they are everywhere

Morning NewGirly, I think we are all barking to be up this early. Problem is,when you wake up it's hard to drop off again - plus my two dogs decided it must be breakfast time, and so the bedlam commences, dogs, cats, kids - DD and I are off for a spa session this morning, a lovely gift from over a year ago from DH - I guess I must be excited and can't sleep

Have a good day and hope you see some sun - on a brighter note, looks like we will all have sun tomorrow :T

YAY :T my salary slip arrived in the post and I have a bonus - totally unexpected and whilst not huge after tax, a very lovely surprise - guess where that is going :rotfl:
Had a great morning with DD and am now going to settle down and have a kip - then off to buy a gift for a relative, and take my shoes to the repairer - not sure I can use the word c@bbler.
Not even the rain can dampen my spirits

It's a glorious morning here, though with a cool wind.
Ironing is finished, volunteering complete, I do need to take something out of the freezer for meals on Monday and Tuesday so will do that next.
NSD as far as I know - looking forward to payday this week.
I am making an onion tart this week, to use up some of the many that I have.
This next point may sound very strange, I have a cupboard full of spirits, liqueurs etc. We really don't drink this type of thing anymore, so will make some cocktails up on a Friday and Saturday evening, as a treat, to get through them - and NOT buy replacements. It is quite mad having the amount and variety, so this may be a fun way of using them and celebrating the "summer".
More weeding needed in the garden and I am planting some mor salad leaves today.
Potatoes from the garden with dinner - however, my mint is dying - I thought mint was almost impossible to kill, yet I am managing it easily. No idea what the problem is.

Congratulations on managing to kill your mint! There are many gardeners out there who would love to have the knack of it!!
I have a similar talent with rosemary!
My thoughts are: too marshy? too dry? roots congested?
Luckily it grows very easily from cuttings, so cut off a bit that looks like it's still alive and push it into the ground in a completely different part of the garden and you may find it survives. It will come in handy for your cocktail party!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Hi Sepa, we should swap - my rosemary has never looked better and my mint is looking very woebegone.
I wonder whether it's roots are too congested - it is in a pot so I may try chopping it into 4 and popping it into a bed which I don't use. However, perhaps that is guaranteeing it will go mad
It's just gone overcast so maybe we have had the best of the day again
