Hiya Greying, I've been in your neck of the woods a few times but due to phone malfunctions have lost lots of numbers 🙈
It's about 26° in the garden today. You'd love our veggie field. It's great xx2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Oh wow, a Tilly update 😀! I have also found your diary inspiring. I wasn't around at the time (didn't buy until 2016), but having heard of the legend that is Tilly I had to look you up (and of course join in the musing about what on earth you did for a living 🤣)
I'm sure everyone will love to you have back in the foldMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!5 -
I don't think I ever saw musings about what I did for a living. We both worked for global IT companies, working under ridiculous pressure but they money was good. Now DH is working but I'm not. I thought he would retire but he's only 56 and doesn't feel it's time to stop yetSouth_coast said:Oh wow, a Tilly update 😀! I have also found your diary inspiring. Glad you enjoyed my diary. I loved it and I'm looking forward to a different chapter now.
I'm still having some access issues. Once I'm up and running on a tablet, I'll start updates

Both of our 'children' are getting married next year, with one of them having their wedding party in Portugal. Once that's done, it's full steam ahead as we have bought a piece of land to build on
I won't go through it now as I need to clear my head but it's exciting & scary in equal measures
Hope all is well with you x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Just read the goals at the bottom of my diary. Crikey, if we hadn't started to OP the mortgage, we'd still have another circa 9 years left to clear our mortgage
I'm so grateful to the MSE community to giving me a kick up the proverbial & the motivation to clear the mortgage2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:
