Oh love, I was so hoping for good news.

I do hope those spottings near to your home mean you will soon have him back. xxxx

(What a B******d that policeman was, knowing what you had been going through - a warning would have been sufficient - talk about it never rains but it pours)

Taking the time to send love and light and positive thoughts will do the same for Ruaridh as if you actually light a candle, so you can do your bit for him just as effectively :)

Sazzy - I have been reading most days hoping to hear you have your old boy home.

Just wanted to say - DO NOT LOSE HOPE, AND DO NOT GIVE UP.

Three weeks ago we got our cat back after she had gone missing about 5 miles from home. She did not have any identification on her and we relied on posters and following up sightings. It took 10 weeks but we got her back. The posters worked...but there was a lot of looking, searching...and worst of all waiting. On the whole people were kind and supportive.

If we could get our timid elderly cat back when she was lost in a rural area..I feel sure the prospects of getting your lovely old boy back are high.

    Thinking of you.

Glad I won't be alone with my candle at 8.30pm! I like the idea of lighting a path for Ruaridh to follow home.

I have a really busy week ahead but will log on every day and hope to hear some good news.

Thanks everyone. Mine is all ready, and when lit will be sat in the hallway window . Sean is also lighting one in Australia. I know it's a bit far, but the positive thoughts will be the same as here

Scholls have been postered and fliered Trixie- but thank you for caring enough to think of it.

    xxx to all
