Thank you everyone once again for your continuing support.

I don't know why, but for some reason- I got a feeling last night that he's still with us. As in living with someone, and it's a case of keeping looking and making as many people aware as possible. It only takes the one right person to know about him doesn't it.

As for Zelda, she needs him to teach her some manners-she's a little cow :)

I'm also convinced he;s still alive as there has been no evidence to suggest otherwise.
Did you hear anything back from the medium? Did you get in touch with them yourself to see if they could tell you anything, or even a different one?

Hope he's back soon to see Zelda who's so cute.

I got a message from her friend, who told me that her mother had dies, and she was sorting through her effects- but told her to tell me that Ruars was still alive. She's also hoping to concentrate on him-and call me to help, maybe even give us a direction.

As I said before DD-I don't know if I believe-but I'm keeping an open mind, and as anyone would in this poxition, we'll try anything at all to see our old boy again.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)
  • I had a thought last night before I went to sleep. Please forgive me if you have thought of this already, but going on the barn theory are there are properties around that are barn conversions, or are currently being converted? If a builder is working on something and seen him wandering he might have taken him in.

Obviously I don't know your area so this may not be applicable but it's just a thought.

10 out of 10 for coming up with a new and different idea at this stage of the 'game'. :T I thought all possible avenues and suggestions had been exhausted. Good thought. :)

Sazzy, please believe, I know there are some fake mediums out there, but I do belive that some are genuine. Look how some have been able to help the police with things.
I hope she can get back to you soon with some leads, we all want to see the old boy back with you as soon as possible.
Even to just know that he was safe somewhere would be good because as long as he is being kept safe and not out in this bitter cold there's always the chance of being reunited with him.

Keep your chin up, he'll turn up somewhere I'm sure and look at the surprise he's going to have when he sees Zelda!!

Its got to be worth having a drive around and asking any builders you see.
What about asking any tradesmen or delivery drivers to put notices in their vans with a picture, asking if anyone has seen him?

Yes, everytime I look at my dog, I think how awful it would be to lose him and think of poor Sazzy and Ruars.

I wonder what is going off in Ruars mind, I bet he wished he'd not raced off like he did. He must have been terrified when he finally stopped and realised he was lost. It would be nice to think that he's found a cosy fire to sit beside even if its only temporary until he gets home where he belongs.

Thanks Murphy..The place we live is a small town in the middle of miles and miles of countryside, and there's loads of farms roundabout. At the time we canvassed the farmers etc to look in their barns, but didn't think of barn conversions. Maybe it's time to go round them again-so thank you. And your Murphy is gorgeous! Reminds me of the old boy-I believe you lost him a while back-I'm sorry.

DD-Another one we went round at the time, again- this is something we should revisit, to keep everyone aware.

My youngest son Ross is home on Sunday night for a few days R and R from Dubai, that's where he's serving, and wants to do something. I've got more posters etc here, so he'll be happy to drive around to feel he's doing something for 'his' dog.

Also, in regard to the medium thing- I didn't want to cause any offence. I guess it wasn't something I had really given much thought to before this happened. There's no one on the other side I really want to speak to, just Mother-and she'd only tell me what I'd done wrong in my life, then nag me ;) I DO really want to believe-honestly.
