Wednesday £3.50 spent on new 2012 desk diary ~ used Am*z*n points to part fund but had to fork out for the rest  but oooooh wait a moment ~ £5 Reward payment received from H*lif*x CC so we are back up! £30/£30.47!!
Thursday is looking like an NSD for the purposes of this challenge, have forked out on mum and dad's christmas present today (used T*sco Cl*bc*rd exchange tokens + took advantage of a free delivery offer to buy them a case of wine Ker ching ) and also £4.50 on stuff for supper tonight however these are all from different budget pots

Hi everyone!
TFIF!!!
saorsie - I actually agree and think we should consider switching to orange from yellow as it would be easier to see!! pp could you advise if you would be happy with this please?
freebyfifty - it certainly is and not a moment too soon! Have fun spending today!!!
I blew my budget... againWent to the pub again last night and had a few...oops! Very tired today as was a bit of a late night!
Sun 6 Nov: NSD for challenge (£40 petrol from petrol budget so not true NSD)
Mon 7 Nov: NSD for challenge (£64.15 to mum for car so not true NSD)
Tue 8 Nov: Cigs £3.75 and Pub £13.20 (and £4.00 on Christmas present from Christmas budget)
Wed 9 Nov: Cigs £6.45 and 9v battery (2 pack) for kitchen scales £3.49
Thu 10 Nov: Pub and cigs £16.49 (89p on milk from food budget)
Fri 11 Nov: Cigs and a lighter! £7.17 and a ham cob from sandwich lady...yum but bad! £1.85
Total so far: £52.40/£40
Planned spends for the rest of the day are nil from this budget, but I am going to do my food shop on the way home from work. I was supposed to be going to my friends for a drink after work but I can't face it, I'm too tired and I'll see her on the weekend anyway.
On the bright side, I had another £10 ShopAndScan voucher through for Amazon so I've spent it on Michael Crichton's new book called Micro (well, it was finished by someone else as I believe Crichton died while writing it) - it's on pre-order for 22 Nov! I'm very excited as definitely wouldn't have been able to justify buying it if I didn't have the voucher! £9.50 as hardcover!!!
Enjoy the rest of your Friday all

Happy Saturday challengeers!
unexpectedly went to cinema last night with my mum, she paid (I'll get the next time we go, which will be to see Breaking Dawn!) and we watched Johnny English.. Expected it to be awful but we wanted something lighthearted, actually it was very very funny, just right! I love Rowan Atkinson!
Only other spend I had yesterday was £1.20 on some chips, did also do my food shop which was slightly under budget so that was good.
However, had a very naughty, spendy, week and am declaring very very red- need to go very careful next week!

Hi,
Can I join the next weekly spend challenge please?
I've been overspending recently on what seems like unnecessary stuff which I'd like to curb and get more control over (especially at this time of year!). To get back into good habits, this thread seems especially ideal for me.
For the next weekly spend challenge which I guess starts tomorrow, can I please put down £50, but I'm hoping I'll be well inside this target so next week I can reduce it.
Thank you.AFD 0/310 -

Good morning everyone!
Unfortunately, the cost of liquid gold and other accessories necessary to keep me moving have sent me into the red this week with a total spend of £72.27 out of my pledged £50!
Fingers crossed that I'll do better next week!
Thanks for running the thread this week LC. :T
Pointy - I'd like to pledge £50 again for next week please - thank you! :starmod:

Hi chris81418 :hello:
First post updated - unfortunately regards liquid gold these things are sometimes a necessity!!!
Good luck for next week! :money:
pointy - can I please pledge £25 for next week... Me and my friends have pledged to quit smoking because we all get encouraged by each by other. With 3 of us doing it, our chances of success are greater as we can't tempt each other. So we all had our last cigs last night. I have my trusty inhalator primed and ready. Tomorrow will be the test to be fair, today I'm just at home so not tempted! I have Tuesday and Thursday as leave this week as well, again, should help with the lack of temptation.
