Hi everyone
How are you all on this fine Autumnal day?
Wow pp, you are a busy bod!! The price of popularity eh?!
Thanks for the hugs chris81418 - to be honest I was probably being a bit too naively optimistic that things have been so much better, I shouldn't have got comfortable and assumed they were going to stay that way! Oh well, I've been there long enough that my cv will be fine if I leave soon - my problem is finding a suitable job, I'm annoyingly quite specialised.
I'm tired as quite frankly have had a few drinks and late nights on both Fri and Sat, so today I am just going to mooch around the house before returning to hell... oops, slip of the tongue, I mean, work... tomorrow.
I think today should be a NSD for me as far as the challenge goes, although not a NSD overall as I had to get my week's petrol this morning on the way home. Tomorrow my car goes into the garage... dread to think what's wrong and what it'll cost... but hey, has to be done!

Hi everyone
First post is updated!
Today was mixed good and bad finance wise!
As I mentioned, car had to go to the garage as it has been quite poorly! Good thing was they couldn't find anything majorly wrong. Bad news is everything they did do, cost in total £274.15. So I've just spent 45 minutes tweaking my budgets for Nov and Dec (nightmare...) and I've managed to give mum £39.15 in cash, £25 bank transfer now which is literally all my emergency money, spare cash etc for this month so have to go very careful (and my clothing budget, boo hoo) so in Dec I have to give £210 and I'll be clear. Obviously have worked out how I will do that, so that's fine, if annoying, but the main thing is my car is ok!!!
On the upside, I rang all my creditors again, down to 5 now from 7 and 2 of those will clear at the end of this month. Double checked the interest and turns out it was incorrect what I'd been told originally by the three credit cards!!! Egg and Santander aren't charging me anything, and Barclaycard are charging... wait for it... 1.019% per month! Happy days!!! :j  :T all this means in reality it is very much looking like I will be making my last payment on 1st Dec, meaning I'll be debt free when CCCS pay on 24th! Which will give me a teeny bit extra in January and an even teenier bit extra in Dec as actually it won't even be the full amount! Plus, the Barclaycard lady was really really lovely, can't recommend them enough, and she said to work out the interest bascially stick a couple of extra quid on my total on my CCCS debt plan, and she has a note to check the account in first week of Jan, and has all my bank details so she can refund me if I'm in credit!!! How lovely is that???!!! :A Bless you kind Barclaycard Collections lady!
Sun 6 Nov: NSD for challenge (petrol from petrol budget so not true NSD)
Mon 7 Nov: NSD for challenge (£64.15 to mum for car so not true NSD)
Total so far: £0/£40
