Plus I can tell you now beacause finally told mum and sis but OH has gone.........for good this time, feeling like total !!!!! right now:(:(:(
It does get easier but you will shed a lot of tears in the mean time. QPR10 has it spot on. You are mourning a relationship that you used to have, not the one you currently have. My ex was wonderful when we first met. Stunning earrings for Xmas, a trip to NY for my birthday and also for my engagement ring then it went downhill to the point that I bought him an xbox game for helping me through the birth of DS2 (to which he said he knew I was going to do that) yet I didn't even get a card or bunch of flowers from the petrol station. What did he do when his ex had a kid to her new bloke? Yes, he went out and got her a card & bottle of champagne. That's gives a bit of an indicator as to why we split without going into too much detail.
I cried on and off for 3 or 4 months but finally I have realised I'm crying for the man I hadn't seen in years. I'm sure I've changed what with having kids and all and that's the only reason I held on for so long as he is the father of my kids but there's only so much one person can take. You did your best but sometimes, there's just nothing more you can say or do to fix things.sunshinestar101 wrote: »Jusrt wanted to say HELLO to all. And where were you when I needed you? DS1 decided to upchuck his dinner just as I'd undone DS2s rancid nappy (no-one should be eating dinner at this hour!). Managed to get DS1 into the bathroom to throw up some more but bless his cotton socks, I knew he was about to be sick when he started acting funny and said what I thought was "sick". He had his arms around my neck at the time but when I heard him say that I was Mach 10 moving away and missed being covered.
Oh and Celebrate - you may remember I said about going back to court? Lets just say I'm :beer:0 -
Ih8stress, very true I am greatful that besides the aches and pains it is nothing serious although it is worrying me about the cost money wise. We simply can not have the car off the road but we can not deal with any more rising costs, our renewal quote was £190  A MONTH. Plus the repairs we had to have done latelyWe just don't have the money spare.
I'm not a car owner but that does sound like alot of money for the renewal quote  Is that after following all Martin's tips for getting the best quotes?
Would you spend that much a week using public transport/taxi's (taking into account petrol, road tax, upkeep etc).
Sorry if any of these questions seem daft, like I said, I'm not a car owner.
Glad you are okay - take it easy for a day or two though. Take care:)0 -
Happychappy: Thank you for all the jokes - only had chance to read a couple so far. You really seem to be joining in now. Hope your ear is better (not had chance to read back for a few days):)
Nikki: Keep up the good work on the ciggie front!0 -

We did have his dad on the policy but he has just got a speeding conviction so we removed him. Buses aren't really an option as with my son having Aspergers he has meltdowns on them, last time he split his head open, trying to manage him, a toddler and a buggy just isn't a good idea.
Plus I also provide care to my mum so need it for running her about. We always said we pay for the convenience but its starting to cost a little too much now!
As for taxi's well, it used to cost me £12 per day to get DS to school and back thats before trips to hospitals drs shopping etc
And no they don't seem daft at all I appreciate the help and suggestions
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

Its because my partner has only been driving two years and is 21, me 4 months and 23, plus the type of car we have, we have shopped around a lot, and that is the cheapest.

this isnt really to do with your car - but after this post, i felt i had to come back online and reply.
You sound like you have your work cut out there!! have you looked into carers allowance with regards to your mum? also, have you heard of something called Respite Care? - it could be worth looking into for your son, it will help give you a little break.
sorry for the short message, shattered and baby playing football with my bladder. lol. xx
your doing a great job - im sure you already knew that, but sometimes its just nice to hear.Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -
Ouch - this ear thing is contagious. Just blown my nose and my right ear started to block followed by an excurciating hot needle pain and me feeling like I was very very drunk. It's taken a few minutes but it's just unblocked itself but it was loud & painful. What did I just do to myself? Maybe I should have gotten those antibiotics a couple of weeks ago when this cold/sinus thing started0

Also - Beki - look into help with travel costs for your son getting to school... some councils offer support.
