was just a week ago when Nikki 1st gave up smoking, I posted on here how good it was to see community spirit.

Think i'll delete that post now as this is just stupid.

Am an MSE'r , have been for a good few years and don't plan to join FB group(s).

    GREED HAS TAKEN OVER
    ....................................

Can someone point me at the website where you put your receipt details in and cross fingers for a voucher please.

I know thats not what you meant but in case anyone is confused Nikkilala who gave up smoking is not the Nikki who is supposed to have caused trouble on fb.

https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/Default.aspx they are about 4 days behind at present
  • Can we just clear something up here about trouts.

It was a bit of fun at first but now its become a little rude to say the least.

I have met very few trouts in tesco and the vast majority of tesco employees are hard working people just trying to get by like you and I. Their working conditions are not the best in the business and their terms of employment actively stop them from getting many bargains which other employees would consider 'perks of the job'. The ones I've found to be helpful outweight the bad ones many time over.

What we have now is simply far too many people chasing far too few glitches, that includes customers AND tesco staff. Sadly this isn't 3 or 4 years ago when glitchers like myself were few and far between.

I'd also like to add, MSE has many tesco staff as keen and very long serving members! My other half is a tesco employee and has been on here probably longer than 90% of this threads posters. Does that make them a trout? Do they not have the right to help here, share info and also gain from the info?

Another major problem we face and one we really can't defeat is that of either corrupt or just savvy managers who will shuffle stuff to their cars without the usual staff or customers even getting near it! I was told in two stores last night that the bold peony posder last week didn't make it to the shelves as the managers had the lot.

Glitching is a tough hobby these days, we need to adapt and get cute about how we do it, or we will simply come home empty handed more and more often.

    Sorry for waffling.
for the record i have never ever met a miserable (trout) in asda, sainsbury or morisons. ALL the staff in those stores are happy cheerful. only tesco have some miserable staff.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

The cs that told you that are wrong !!
I emailed cs ho after being told that as I thought they were wrong and I know have a ref number to go back to the store in question to get my additional money back
Cs at ho clearly told me today that dtd does not affect my statuary rights on Returning items
    Hope this helps xxx
Think I will return them now , just to see what happens , if they only give me the £5 a tin then I will ring HO . Thanks.
