Oh yes I agree with that and it will take a fair bit of polishing - Its hard work t-cutting but its well worth it.''Aim for the moon, because if you miss you will still land amongst the stars''0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:DID IT!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Jumper over PJ's bike out of garage, DH looks at me like I am a COMPLETE lunatic, as I'm shouting " glitch on frijjs" as I cycle down the path......
Got 6 frijjs, 2 pints of milk and a caramel, and paid 13p :beer::beer::beer:
Now back on sofa and hyperventilating, and DDs knocking back chocolate frijj :rotfl::rotfl:
When there was the glitch on knives and pans etc I went to my local about 6.30 and got a load of stuff for all my family ( mostly paid with Giftcards from DTD). However when I got home I went on here and actually saw the photo of the Tesco Professional Knife Block with 5 knives ( the flat one) I was really annoyed that I got knives but not the block. So I phoned OH ( we live apart- lucky me!) and told him and he said get dressed and go back. So out of jimjams- into clothes and I went back and got the last set- £65.00 down to £13.00 and a few more pans. Was so pleased.
BTW when I was there this evening I saw some new pjs ( navy and purple with ribbon trim) that were expensive (£12.00 for the top and £14.00 for the bottoms. However they are almost an exact copy of Cyberjammies ones that are twice the price. My sis bought me Cyberjammies for Xmas last year and they are the best PJ's you will ever wear. So with the Double Up on at the mo these Tesco ones might be worth a look. Going back tommorow to get my daughter a pair for Xmas with vouchers.

If the damage is as you suggest then its a case of a minor repair, colour over the repair and laquer out the bumper. A body shop won't charge more than £200 to do that, and many will charge less.
See what she says when you speak to her first and then get back to us on here. Plenty of good advice on here I'm sure.
surely that if u had scratched the top part of the bumper near the reg plate u would scratch the bottom bit aswell as they seem to be level with each other? it seems like they are trying to scam you sweet but thats just my opion hope u manage to sort it out without to much cost got my fingers crossed for you xx0 -

Yeah, pity she never looked for witnesses. Besides, I think if anyone looked at the two cars and seen no damage whiplash would be hard to prove. Even for the slightest case of whiplash there would be some damage.
I always had a camera in my car/tractor just in case as photographs hold up better than your word and nobody can argue with them. Most insurance companies/AA/RAC recommend that you carry a camera with you.
There was a very very nasty accident up here a few months back where some girl went the wrong way down a slip road and joined the dual carriageway heading the wrong direction. She had the cheek to say it wasn't her fault but a lorry driver had a 'Road Angel' camera fitted to his truck that recorded everything. I was going to buy sis one of these for when she got her car but she changed her mind at the last minute. If I ever own a car again the first thing I would invest in is a road angel as there are just too many people out there that shouldn't have licences. But for anyone who contemplates getting these things, be warned, they also incriminate you.0 -

sorry, don't agree as this may not be the case - i had a nice new 4x4 at one point that got pranged by me in my other half's massive pickup (doh! no jokes please) - turned out that the "small scratch" was actualy a crack and need a whole new bumper which cost about £900 plus labour & VAT and so was more affordable to fix on insurance including excess than to pay upfront
it is unsafe for you financially to get involved with anyone when you have caused damage to their car and have admitted it - what will you say if it turns out their bumper is cracked, and they later have an accident where someone is injured due to your botched t-cut job?
you could be legally liable for anyone injured from there being a faulty rear bumper due to your "handiwork"..
certainly worth mentioning to the insurance company that if the repair is of a low value you would like to settle in cash yourself, but PLEASE don't go offering to repair it yourself, that is a VERY bad idea!0 -
