Poor Mr PG has my sympathy, ive had shingles on my head and it was sore !! Watch our for the rash spreading towards his eye. The doc told me to come back immediately if that happened ... Thankfully, it didnt.
Sympathy to you too, men are such bad patients ! Lol
I would like to second Mara - please keep an eye on him (ha ha :rotfl:)
My DH's problems are 99% caused by shingles spreading into his eye and down his optical nerve to give him the neurological problems he has - and he was so poorly at the start, not so now but still days when he is unable to work.
Get well soon Mr PG0 -
Oh dear poor Mr PG shingles is very painful indeed. I think you're going to be doing a lot of looking after him.
If anyone does turn up on the doorstep, tell them to go away, they have no rights to enter or threaten you, so do not get yourself in a state needlessly.

Oh dear - much sympathy to MrPG; shingles is horribly painful and, as EE says, can lead to lasting damage - so watch him carefully while he's waiting it out at home, and [STRIKE]get him to[/STRIKE] call out the Doc fast if the rash you can expect to appear very soon, starts spreading towards his eyes.
Erm, has he got sickness insurance? If so, get a claim started - this is one of the nightmares of being self-employed, isn't it?
Oh, and DD is also probably infectious - what do the school say re her exams?
Damn. This sort of carp always turns up at an inconvenient time, doesn't it?0 -

Poor Mr PG, I know exactly what he's going through as I had shingles on the left side of my head. Started as a red mark and a couple of blisters on my chin and then full blown shingles only on the one side of my head, looked horrible and it took ages to feel back to normal. I still have numbness on my chin and next to my eye. My biggest sympathies to him.
Hope that Miss PG is on the mend too and that no one else falls ill.
