Mrs PG : re craft type stuff ... I remember the delight of crochet ponchos (in electric pink and white), flared jeans with embroidered flowers and pictures of boats made with metallic thread and tacks ... all done by my dear Ma. I need to metaphorically declutter my little brain, hence my need to share such things with you all :)

This week is disappearing before my very eyes. Where is it going ? Before I know it it will be Christmas again and I'm not ready for that yet !

Been busy with work, have some more work dribbling in for April time as well which is good news. Thigns are looking good for now and my plans are falling into place for making the payments and settling some bills that have been outstanding for far too long.

More payments have been made to THEM as per the signature, so that's looking nice although still not in the realms of THEIR remit , but its tough luck really. I need to kick this into touch sooner rather than later , then aim to get saving for the next bill due in October.

Mr PG is still away, knackered and a bit fed up, this is the last week of the contract and things are looking very tight against the deadlines. He is doing a good job it appears from the feedback we have had but its taking its toll. This job finishes Saturday and he then goes overseas for a week or so immediately afterwards but I will then make sure there are a few days off the first week for the school hols. I am struggling with juggling work, house, girls etc etc so so having him around will be good for us all. All is good with the girls, DD2 in particular as her birthday is appearing on the horizon rather too fast for my liking ! She is getting very excited ! She has given me a history lesson on the Saxons and Normans , and this evening another in Science - Forces and Newton Meters. I now feel very brainy !! :):T

I went through the figures this morning for the Predators and realised there was an odd 31p making the numbers look untidy on the bank loan, so made my first small payment to the loan. There is only another £30K left to pay on it, so I am sure the bank will think I am a crazy lady paying them a random 31p from out of thin air, but who cares what they think ! It made me happy and that's what counts ! :D

Made another £40 on ebay over the weekend , so that has been withdrawn and hidden away incase of hard times ahead , Few more bits up for sale so we will see how we go with those but I don't expect them to fetch much but it all helps. .

Car in for a service tomorrow as Mr PG has had no time to do it as he usually does. They will check out the Beeping as well although it didn't beep today as the sun was shining. Most definitely a weather related beep ! Just hope it is cheap and easy to fix and something Mr PG can sort at some point rather than paying the garage to fix it.

I have only caught up with two diaries this evening :o , which is pretty poor going but I will find the time to read I promise. I am ready for my bed now though so no more diary reading for me.

Catch up tomorrow hopefully . DFW so lovely to see you back , you were missed xxx

  • Ebay can really save your bacon. It keeps us afloat between paydays. You do right to have an emergency fund. :)

Emergency fund needs some serious building back up again after the last few months, but had we not had it I dread to think where we would have been It certainly helped get us through. :D

Funny how pre LBM we didn't have one, never really crossed our minds to have one, we just relied on the evil CC's to get us through when no money was coming in. How daft were we ?! :o
