Sorry Mrs PG, I've been missing, trying to deal with my own demon money worries. I do think of you a lot. Horrible times!

I'm setting up a bread and water club for those of us that haven't got a penny spare, not even a budgeted penny.

The worry is wearing on soul and family. All I can say is keep going, we will get there - one day....

  • Just dropping in quickly and will answer your lovely posts above later.

Wanted to say that we have had another Invoice for £300 paid today. Thats sounds like good news, which in a way I suppose it is, but sadly we had some business expenses totalling £183 debited today , I gave another little bit back to the VAT account and £27 to THEM . Therefore as much as its good news and I can pay the business Expenses and not default, which would have really jeopardised the business its still leaving nothing to live on. The first invoice from the recent contract was due to be paid today, this was for a reasonable sum although with £3500 to find for the VAT by the 7th March, it would have all had to go back in the VAT pot. Sadly though they havent paid :(. I don't want to hassle them as it wont look good and things are going well on the job. They are usually pretty good payers so I am expecting to see that next week. Fingers crossed. Assuming it turns up I will use some of it to buy a few bits for DD1 for her birthday.

If only the other very overdue invoice from the" People who have not paid" , had appeared I could have paid the rest of the Predators, only two have been paid this month so far which isnt good. But they didnt pay so thats that really.

Aside from the money, very bad timing, but DD2 was bought some concert tickets for Christmas, the show was last night, about an hour away. The last thing we needed to be honest as we didn't really want to use the fuel. We did go, they had a great time, Mr PG worked from home yesterday so that he could come with us , we waited in the foyer as it was only a small venue so the girls were fine. I packed them a bag of goodies to eat in there, so aside from fuel it cost us nothing :D

I will try and make it back later xxx

  • Quick update......

Freds have agreed to put the Account with regards to THEM on hold while they investigate.

We have been offered a job on Sunday, very long hours, officially needed two people but they have asked Mr PG to work it for double the pay . He will finish four hours before he starts back at work on Monday morning so they have also offered to put him up in a hotel for the night in central London so he can grab some sleep. He has accepted the job . He is still only working a few hours tomorrow but from home so that he can have a bit of a break. He is working far too many hours so I am pretty concerned , but he says he is fine. We have decided that what he earns on Sunday we will use solely to pay the Accountants bill, in full, and cross that off of the list. x

  • Little steps being made in the right direction has got to be good. That's 2 invoices paid today and better news from Freds. The business expenses have been paid so that's 2 less things to worry about. Thinking about you and Piq and sending as many positive vibes your way as poss. Just make sure you don't put too much back in the VAT pot and leave yourselves short for food.
I know the over working feeling, both from me and DH. It can only carry on so far, but DH is just thinking of the money, and probably thinking that this is a way he can help you to stop worrying so much about money. I know you'll be worried about him though.

Last day of the hols today. Have finished a job application of my own to change schools, so fingers crossed. Will mean same money, a bit more travelling but less work.

Make sure you take care xx
