Have you considered a month of token payments?
HHx
Thankyou HH, I am sure things will pick up too. I am keeping positive for now. All it takes is one phone call or one long contract to pop up and we are back up and running again .
We have a few options if the above doesnt happen but hopefully we wont need to go down those routes. The token payments is a good idea and an option. We are ok for this month but may need to use that option next month but I am hoping not to.
Thankyou for your musings. You are right again of course. You cant buy back time.....but oh my how I wish we could !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Big hugs to everyone, I hope people got to work safely this morning. The Boy's ribs were playing up after someone bashed into him on the metro yesterday so with all the black ice I thought I'd give him a lift to work. Took me almost an hour to get him to work and then me get to my work. We don't even work far from each other or far from home, it was awful.
I'm in the lab now, Christmas music on and Santa hat on my head to cheer me up. Christmas dinner at work tomorrow and then we have the work panto next week (it's hilarious and nice for everyone to gather in one room on one day and have a laugh about the past year, they give out sweets and things).HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

The Panto sounds great Fallen, infact I may just dig out my Santa Hat while I am working and join you with a spot of festive cheer !
Jack Frost came last night much to DD2's delight. Its icy and cold but the roads were fine thankfully. Your journey sounds awful.
Hope OH's ribs feel better soon. DD2 is feeling poorly again today, swollen throat and glands under her arms. I wrote her a note so that she didnt have to play basketball today as it hurts her to lift her arms.
If I had my way she would be having a sneaky day off curled up on the sofa with me, but sadly I have busy day, so that plan will have to wait for another time !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Never too early for champagne! (You could always splash some orange in it though, as Bucks fizz seems more acceptable before 12 somehow!).:D
Congrats on breaking the £10k barrier :j
Ps totally agree Fallen, the black ice in Newcastle is horrific today. DS1 was on his back as soon as he stepped out the door to go to school this morning!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL I didn't realise you were in the toon too, I saw a gritter sitting doing nothing in Forest Hall and it really knarked me. So glad I took to boy right to his work door, he really is a clumsy thing but he'd been doing so well, really annoyed with whoever has set him back as it really knocked his confidence too I could tell.
Congrats Mrs PG on £20k paid off :T:j:T:beer::T:j:T You've done fantastic. It won't be long until they're off school for Christmas and all four of you can snuggle up in that giant bed of yours I remember you mentioningHSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

I live near the airport fallen. We are right on the border of Newcastle/Northumberland councils and I think we are forgotten territory!
When we had that really bad snow last Wednesday, Newcastle council came under fire for not gritting the roads enough, to which they replied that they had deployed their whole fleet - 14 vehicles!! I mean come on, how are 14 vehicles supposed to service the whole city? It's a joke! Not taking anything away from the gritter drivers, they do a great job in dangerous conditions, but surely if the council had more of them it would help. Not that it's ever going to happen though with all the cuts.
Rant over. Sorry to highjack your thread PG.
