Did you post that on all of the diaries NL ??!!! You must have been busy !
Think Im getting old, I completely forgot to pinch punch this morning, but I did remember the advent calenders ( never again will I be late again with them as I was last year. DD1 wrote all over her Facebook that her Mum had forgotten to buy her a calendar, I was mortified ! ) The Christmas Doormat is on the front doorstep, the Let It Snow cushion on the sofa in the kitchen and the Reindeer Cushions in the lounge. The Tree will be left until next week as I cant quite get my head around that job today , plus I have my eye on a new tree that I have jsut enough Nectar Points to purchase it with. The girls arent about much this weekend and I like to decorate the tree with them and Mr Pinot, so I will wait until later in the week or next weekend dependant on who is at home and when.
Mr Pinot flew home yesterday ! Yey !! He was shattered but managed to drag himself to the movies with us. We always see a christmas film on the 1st of December, its tradition. We couldnt go today, so we went last night to see Nativity 2. Dont all rush to see it though will you !! :rotfl:The girls enjoyed it though.
Today has been busy, few loads of washing chucked in the machine, quick zip around the house with the hoover. Mr Pinot went off to work again unfortunately . DD2 has a party in London and sleepover, so she was dressed up and raring to go with bags packed and bedding pulled off of the spare bed to take with her. Dropped her off at 12 and then I have been Inspirational Christmas Window Shopping with DD1 this afternoon. It was lovely to spend a few hours together and we had fun. I have her pressies all sorted but a few other people have been asking what she would like so I thought it would be nice to go and see what caught her eye. Lots and lots was the answer !!
She has just been dropped at a friends to sleep as Mr Pinot is working until late and I am off out to see the Overtones tonight. I like the music not sure what I will think of them live, but the tickets I bought as a pressie for someone last year . I thought she was taking her husband with her but she isnt shes taking me.:D
Off now to smarten up.
Have a lovely evening all xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I need some help. Having body weight issues tonight. A few years ago I weighed just under 9 stone. Tonight I'm half a point of 11. It's something I've struggled with for a long time and my boy knows I do but I've promised him I'm being good. Tonight it's hurting a lot.
I'm just going to have to put it into running harder tomorrow. My problem is food I know it is. I barely ate at uni and now I am. I wish I didn't feel this way but I know it's over 10 years in the making, I'm not going to conquer it quickly.

I'm de-lurking for a minute to help you out
I found https://www.myfitnesspal.com to be the only thing that worked for me. (It's free, of course.) I've been using it intermittently since January 2011. The exercise and calorie counters/balance are easy - and the boards there give great inspiration.

Morning Fallen,
Sorry things are getting you down with your weight. It seems to me that you are trying really hard, you are always telling us about your running. It sounds as thought your OH is very supportive of you though. This time of year is worse I imagine to try and lose weight, all Iwant to eat is comfort food, shepherds pies, casseroles and dumplings and cosy things.
Thanks Listerbelle for delurking, lovely to see you !
Might the website mentioned be of some help Fallen do you think ?
Really hope you are feeling brighter this morning.

Well the Overtones Concert last night was a sight to behold !!
I think I went with false illusions though. I had no idea how young they were, I think its because they sing croony music I expected them to be older....but no they are all young whipper snappers ( well except for one who looked like he shouldnt really be there and had be dragged in off the street at the last minute !) Consequently the place was full of 40 plus women, with the occasional man thrown in for good measure. These women were the letchy, knicker throwing kind who really should know better with hollers of "Get ya kit off darlin!" being shouted at the Overtones Boys on a regular basis.:o We came to the conclusion that the men who went with their wifes and partners were only there on the promise of a bit of action when they got home if they were good enough to attend !! :rotfl:
Oh my, I felt like I was at an overgrown One Direction Concert. I admit I'm not good at that whole screetchy, women lusting in public over men type thing. I never did go to see the Chippendales, really not my thing ( I sound such a prude dont I !) but it was so cringey.
The Overtones themselves though were great, had we been able to see them over the heads of the Die Hard fans who even when the rest of the place sat down for the slow smoochy songs, stood up lusting and screaming and whooping at them . Typically the Die Hards were two rows in front of us so we stood no chance really.
Overall though a fun night was had by all, but I was pleased to be safely snuggled up back at home with Mr PG by 11pm !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I know how you feel, not the running bit fa, but the weight bit.
My advice would be to be more relaxed about eating, I'm guessing you're getting a bit obsessive about it and mentally punishing yourself it you step over the line you have set yourself.
It's unlikely that you will ever be the weight you were at uni, that might have been an unhealthy size anyway as you weren't eating . If by some chance you did get back to that weight, you run the chance of being gaunt and old looking. I'd put money on it that you'd look great at ten stone or so, which is only a stone away.
Relax dearest wiccan, you've got yourself in a state, we're here to help. Let's start with a realistic aim.
The app Listerbelle recommends is excellent, have a look and let us know what you think.

Hi PG I'm the same look forward to a night out and then wish I was tucked up in bed!
L
:eek: L, I have just had another night out sprung on me !
A surprise from Mr PG who is taking the day off today , first one in over a month. Its our Wedding Anniversary today, we have only seen each other twice on the day itself over the years, so as the last job abroad went well he has treated me to a day / night out.
Its so lovely of him and hes taking me to a couple of places he knows I love or have wanted to go to, but I have come down with the lurgy over the weekend, am running a temperature, ache all over and am snotty and crusty eyed and generally feel like sh*t. He has babysitters organised, but having this sprung on me at 7am I am now having a panic that people he hasnt asked to babysit will be upset. It will be a late night and I know that all I really want to do is spend the day in my PJs with a Lemsip.
I feel so bad, its such a lovely thoughtful surprise xx
