Morning everyone,
Yey, I have about half an hour to myself ! The girls are at school and Mr Pinot isnt at work today so has nipped to Asda to pick up a few things I forgot to buy on Saturday. Apparently the family are in dire need of tomato ketchup, I dont eat it so didnt think to buy it !
Rubbish sleep last night, these dreams are driving me mad now ! Hedghogs nesting high up in the trees in the back garden , what was that all about ? They didnt do anything, just sat in their nests staring at me, but it was slightly disconcerting !
Plan of action for today, finish the walls, ceiling and paintwork in the kitchen. I cant do any letters as the printer is well and truly dead and buried. So annoying, as we only bought new printer cartridges about a week ago. So now we need to hunt for a new printer, that wasnt in my plan for January, but it is a necessity. On the basis I can do no letters, I will get busy with the roller instead, you never know it might be finished today, then it needs a damn good clean ! I'm pleased with it so far its really brightened it up.:D
Had a message from my sister earlier, to say that she has just managed to slice the top of her thumb off with her mandolin ! Since when did she start playing mini guitars I wondered ? I had images of her playing lovely hawaiian sounding music inthe comfort of her conservatory, DD2 insisted a mandolin wasnt a mini guitar after all, but a french cake tin, and Mr Pinot insists its some form of vegetable chopper. I have just text her back for clarification of exactly what she has done and what on earth is a mandolin ! Answers on a postcard please ?!!:)LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Ha ha..well not really. It's painful but yes a mandolin is a slicer that you can use on veggies etc to get really thin and even slices. We have one which gets used oh about 5 times a year max.
Sorry to hear about printer. But good to see you're still getting on with the kitchen. :TI have been languishing on here so now need to get a shimmy on:)MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

well i asked my best friend, google
and about 10 hundred pictures of a small guitar came up so i'm guessing you're right lol
Good luck with the kitchen i hope you get it done! i'm thinking of doing ours before summer as it has sticky finger prints all over it from about 2 foot down!
I also had another strange dream last night. I spent, what seemed like forever, the entire dream sat on the floor of my living room sorting out gloves into pairs & hats to match & scarves. This is probably something to do with the fact that ds2 has lost 4 pairs of gloves, 2 hats & 1 scarf this winter so far  this morning he went out in one of his baby hats which just about fit him, his sister's gloves and his brother's scarf which was huge :rotfl: i refuse to buy any more the lil monster just keeps throwing them out of his pushchair when i'm not watching!:)MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. oh we crossed posts :rotfl: you are also right. LOL if you ask google what a mandolin slicer is it comes up with pictures of a dangerous looking contraption :eek:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Well thankyou !! Now I know, my sister has just confirmed it is a vegetable contraption, shows what I know !! Shame really I was having quite a giggle thinking of her dressed up in a hula skirt and flowery garlands playing the mini guitar !
At least your dream last night had some sort of relevance , I remember my DD2 constantly throwing her shoes away, she hated them, only liked wellies and slippers and I got sick to death of buying new ones. Actually shes not changed much now, she is the queen of Crocs and would wear them to school given half a chance !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I take it she was over-exaggerating about slicing her finger off?
Hope you have a good day today, your dreams are most certainly strange hehe. Good luck with the DIY, there's some good printer deals out there if I remember rightly. Just remember to check what the ink will cost before you purchase, although I'm sure you know this alreadyDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

The top of her thumb apparently, it sounds pretty nasty. Think she should get herself off to docs really as apparently its still bleeding. Her hubby has thrown the contraption in the bin as he was so angry with her, she is quite accident prone, but then I can talk !:)
Mr Pinot has got a new printer now and installed it. I was very impressed he bought it through Nectar, so we got the points ) and also another £30 cashback through the store and it was still the cheapest deal, so he deserves a pat on the back !:T
Hope you are ok Kerri, not had time to read your diary over the weekend xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
